He was the one who initiated ASMR. The smooth tone of his voice and gestures. His brushings. His low key but imminent powerful messages. He helps me feel safe, secure and at peace as if nothing that has been happening has happened at all 😓 Thanks, Bob!
1:50 Of all the times he’s beaten his brushes, this one is my favorite. He doesn’t acknowledge it like normal, just gives a slight chuckle and you can see the happiness flow out of him.

I'm so happy that his videos are still here to newer people aka the children or new generations but everybody is definitely still sad that he is deceased rest in peace Bob Ross.
When Mr Ross starting doing the shadows on the mountains. I thought bluish grey? Noooooo that's not working, then he laid in that titanium hwite... I almost choked it was so beautiful. I should know by now, to never doubt the Ross!
When you deal with everyday irritations after it’s over i take a nice hot shower and spend the night watching Bob Ross this is just a peaceful way to end the day with his paintings.
Every time i watch these videos its like i dont have insomnia/anxiety/depression etc. They make me feel so relaxed.

I've been watching Bob since I was kid in the 80's. He was on Channel 8 here in Phoenix. He's very relaxing to listen too and helps me fall asleep each night. RIP Bob.
Remember when I was in high school, in the afternoon I saw his tv show and always relaxed and sleep with his voice and painting sounds and now discovered that what I feel is A.S.M.R.
Mr. Ross, heaven is a very relaxing place with you.

wow,I spent HOURS and HOURS just trying to get the tops of my mountains completed! He does it in 10 minutes! I was doing everything with the wrong brushes! Thank you Bob!
I think that's the only time I see him use up all the sap green ever. I love it when he mixes the green and yellow together.

No doubt one of my favorite ROSS paintings! May bee not the greatest artist of his time, but he was wonderful at spreading his craft to the masses! Love that easel he made from a step ladder.

A hippy with style with a brush and canvas....a cool guy creating works of art & beauty in such a short time! Genius above many so called old artist eg Picasso! His commentary leads you along making you want to join in....grab a paint set and have a go! Thanks Bob for sharing with the world!!

Yes! Well I don't have insomnia but massive anxiety, and depression. it helps calm down my nerves soooo much. I'm so grateful for this show

apparently bob knew back then too many people don't paint with him but just listen but he took it as a compliment, he felt people should feel joy not only from painting but watching someone paint as well

Like some people here I am not a painter but I just feel so relaxed listening to Bob Ross speak and watching him paint. I'm also stressed these days so this keeps me from going completely insane.
I love how Bob couldn't resist the urge to put snow on the mountains. So cute. Bob also made a good point in this one about teaching children this style. I honestly don't know why this kind of art technique isn't being taught in schools. I certainly would've taken more interest in art if I was taught this simple, brilliant technique back then.

There's nothing out there that Bob can't create. I have watched his show for a while now, and it is the best show on TV. When I sleep at night, I listen to his voice, and he puts me to sleep.
God always call good hearted people that impacts many during their life. I would love to have ALL his DVDs just in case they take it off TH-cam. I watch these TH-cam videos everyday. I'm also watching PBS hoping they offer his collection. LOVE YOU BOB!!!
I have to limit my viewing to just 3 or 4 videos per week. Even with data saver, I need to ration, 'cause I only have 10G/month total. This is my TREAT! 😺💕🐾

I watched Bob Ross ever since I was 2, 10 years ago I saw my first episode of Bob Ross. I crawled into my grandpas room where my mom was and saw Bob Ross on the TV, I sometimes will paint, next time I will paint one of his paintings by watching him. But I need the colours/colors

I like how his son didn't start painting till he was 12. I feel like so often u hear skilled people teaching their kids at like 3 yo to do their thing, but that's always seemed like you're kind of pressuring them into following in your footsteps. Interesting to hear that Bob didn't do that.
