I love how Bob Ross's videos are the only ones with only positive comments. If you watch Bob, you have nothing negative to say. Only happy positive things. Like maybe a tree that's in need of a friend.
The only negative thing I would ever say is that he only makes me feel like poop at the end when he shows how good his paintings are and how easy it is for him but how I could never do it 😂 but other then that, he’s nothing negative ❤️
If I told you that Bob Ross was a serial killer and all his paintings are places he buried all the happy little bodies would that be considered a negative comment?
Oh how I love watching these videos. Reminds me when I was young lad and just forget all the worries and problems of the world. Even as of now as I rewatch them.
I imagine that when Bob passed away, God granted him the ability to reside in one of his own paintings; the painting(s) of his choice and that was HIS personal heaven. Perhaps he and his squirrel friends are hanging out in this very painting.
I also really really enjoy his son, Steve. I wish he'd have a painting show...can't blame him though. It had to be hard losing his mom and then his dad in such a short time. I hope with all my heart the whole Bob Ross family is doing good. Can't find much on Steve...oh how I pray he's happy, healthy and still painting happy little trees and clouds. I wonder who loaded the videos on utube...how grateful I am!
Izzywizzy I’ve been in touch with one of Bob’s close friends and I’ve been told that Steve is well. That’s about all I got but it was enough to make me happy.
This painting is chock full of life and energy to me! The *huge* clouds in the back and the straight, but incredibly distant river provides so much angle and depth to the painting. I love the detail of the mountain, with its brown highlights, not snowy white ones. The shading in the tree on the left is great, from green-ish yellow to orange in the middle to yellow-ish again. The evergreen is really nice on the right, with the sparkled little red bush too. The detail of the rocks and land and water are as great as ever. Another amazing, truly truly amazing work of art. I just love how he has a little bit of everything in this painting, in terms of types of trees and plants and water. It's so nice and I wish I could just run into the endless depth of it. I love his happy, fluffy clouds, a magnificent painting with a dark mystery about it. I love listening to him talking while he paints.... so easy but very difficult if you aren't a True Artist...

My grandmother knew Bob and took a class with him. She said he was the nicest person you could ever meet. My art/graphic design professor hated him with a passion. Everyone in class was like "How do you hate Bob Ross!" She said he wasn't edgy enough and didn't see the world for its nastiness. I told my friend sitting next to me she was bitter because no guy could stand her.
His voice could soothe a stray cat in heat. I have a painting I did from 28 years ago that I did with his paint set. I watched him every day when I came home from school. And he has such an amazing biography, and loves animals. I mean cmon...
I love it that even though you really can't do wet on wet with acrylic paint, you can still take some of the things he did and make beautiful little happy paintings with acrylics

Okay but can we appreciate that after 24 SEASONS ... Bob is using an easel he made himself from a ladder. Definition of humilty from day one until the last show. He truly just enjoyed
When I watch him step by step I say "Simple enough", and then I see the finished product and I'm like, "how did he create such a masterpiece in 25 minutes?!"
Bob Ross is the closest thing to God, if one believes in. When I think about God, I see Bob Ross, and his happy little stuff. What a lovely, lovely, funny and graceful human being.
I feel like whoever watches bob ross are either 4 people. Chaotic people who need to calm down, people who can’t sleep, people who have a lot of anxiety or are depressed and want to feel better, or just people who are calm, happy, and have no negative thoughts. Bob always makes me feel better, so I hope everyone else feels wonderful as well :)

If he was still with us, I would try to one day meet him in person, just to thank him and tell hm how much I learned from watching him and how much he has helped me get through the dark days of cancer treatments. I’ve seen most of these by now but even if it’s one I remember just the noises and his voice make me feel like someone’s with me waiting for me to fall asleep just talking quietly until I fall asleep
