  • YES! It is really possible to travel from Singapore to Bangkok for under S$50 Singapore Dollars!
I did this journey on regular fares only without any discounts or promo codes. This journey would have been cheaper if I used them, but then it wouldn't be doable at any random time of your choosing.
All legs of the journey are paid at normal fares without discounts, to show that YOU can do it too at any time of the year WITHOUT DISCOUNTS, and still achieve the budget of S$50 Singapore Dollars to travel from Singapore to Bangkok!
This video may not include all details and opinions in each leg of the journey due to time constraints. More descriptions can be found in my blog posts below.

From Bangkok Central Station, take the MRT Blue Line from Bang Sue Station and get off at Phetchaburi Station should be more convenient.

Yes, but that would exceed my budget of SGD50.

Which are the above journeys preferably buy ticket online in advance to prevent delay in trip? or all can purchase ticket on the spot without delaying?

Express buses and long-haul trains. The other shorter distance tickets like Singapore MRT, KTM Komuter, and the Padang Besar-Hat Yai Shuttle Train are on the spot only.

Not at the moment, due to difficulties in pre-purchasing tickets for the LCR.

The current Changi Airport tax is S$62.20, and will be S$65.20 from 1 April 2024. Even if it's a free fare flight, it will not be S$60.

@@RailTravel_Station Flights en start at $60 (US) and $40 from BKK to SIN as the high tax is for departure only. You also have to factor in food and hotel, so in no way will it be cheaper to travel like you did. But it looked like a really fun adventure, thanks for posting
