I agree with pretty much all you said. I made a little bracket like you did for the air filter. The twin airs are junk for this bike. Get the tusk ones there better. The suspension did take a while to break in. Probable around 6 or 7 hours before it started feeling good. Try not to overfill your gas and splash it everywhere. There is a hole where the gas can reach the filter and dilute the oil on it.
the new twin air design for 2024 got rid of thre scre and just uses the goddamn strap same as stock, so it's not an upgrade anymore.. Just need to make sure you got the filter cage on the filter right, add some grease around the edge and be smart about removing it.
My buddy has Enzo says it’s the best his came with triple clamps xtrig as they are bigger diameter they where no chelae but basically factory suspension from California same guy who does tomacs and Deagans bikes etc.
@@moto-x like after it’s been idling for 3 minutes and you shut the bike off it will drip little bit of coolant out the overflow and you can hear coolant bubbling back up the radiator
I’ve been back and forth on getting a yz450f, currently ride a 23’ fc350, vet B rider. I just hate the forks, don’t really want another 450 but I love the SSS suspension, I’ve owned several yz250’s over the years. How much can you mellow it out
@jordanmacsonald9848 these bikes are amazing! I just came off a 2024 KTM 350sxf and am so happy I made the switch. You can dial them way back with the tuner. That’s what I really love is how much of a difference these tuners can make. I don’t think you can go wrong with the 23 and up yz450’s.
@@jordanmacdonald9848 that’s awesome congrats! No issues at all with my yz450. Download the MXA map and see if you like that one. The stock maps can be a little much, I found I really like the MXA map and you can tune versions of that map to your liking. It gets rid of the massive bottom end hit and works really well IMO

The red accent looks cool. I’m getting my 24 next week
If those are the top 5 complaints then the bike must be damn good
Picked up a 24 450FX and it sounds like we agree on the "pain" points. Great vid!
Great video man. Looking to pick up one of these soon. Good to know the things to look into buying before picking one up.
Good luck I think you’ll love it. If you haven’t already, check out the other video on 5 things I really like about it. Overall amazing machine!
@@moto-x I had a 2022 crf450 and hated it but this bike seems very good! Yep watched that one first haha!
good video as always, good and honest opinions, best regards.
Thank you 👍
I only rode the new yz twice at two different tracks and both times my boots got stuck under the side shroud, size 12

Can’t wait to get mine tmr
Let me know how you like it!
Did you have factory connection revaulve this bike for you? If do how do you like it
At first yes, but then switched over to Enzo in Texas.

Did your bike leak coolant out of overflow tube when new
@@matthewlidel4324 no it didn’t. Neither does my 2025.

Traded that 350 in for an anniversary edition yz450 Friday, hopefully get to ride it Tuesday. Have you had any issues with yours yet?

is your suspension done by Enzo for FC ?
Enzo
@@moto-x ok cuase you had a photo with fc stickers ..lol
looking to get a 450 myself for the big wide open tracks . Love your insight and opinion .
@@eatnpooter1634 yes I had FC when I first got the bike then switched to Enzo
@@moto-x wow interesting .. All I use is FC love them .. Thanx again for the insight
Sooooo basically…… get a Honda 😂
@@Scythe_Voltage yes if you want a harsh frame (pre 2025), terrible suspension, and a lackluster motor without the ability to dial it in 😂
Hondas are junk lol unreliable engine
