Name begins with Jona...and ends ....man . I hope it is an auspicious coincidence! My opinion is that in his first renditions I listened to he wants to show his beautiful voice more than to get into character. Try to be a chameleon and don't burn the stages, Jonathan!

Hoppe that he will not start imitating all today's bad singers and don't let himself taught most of today's bad teachers. He sings in a proper manner and his voice is open and full, he doesn't engulf the voice, as many of today's tenors. Let us see. I will be looking for him.

Voix dont le timbre présente des similitudes avec celui de kauffman. Je me demande cependant au regard de ses aigus, notamment le si final, s' il ne s'agirait pas , de ce que les spécialistes italiens qualifient de " ténor corto" sous réserve bien sûr d'un avis éclairé.

he sounds like a baritone pushing his voice where it shouldn't be going. i'd be surprised if his voice lasted.
A baritone would not be able to sing those phrases that sit around A.
@@boundary2580 not true. sherrill milnes could go up to high c and the same with other verdian baritones. he should just stay a baritone and his voice will last longer. his voice doesn't ring like tenor's voices should. he just pushes.
@@boundary2580 a verdian baritone could do it, but i have a feeling you'll never accept what i say even after tetelman blows out his voice (which he'll probably DO after 5 years unless he finally intelligently settles on singing baritone). but tetelman as a tenor is a 2nd rate singer which says something about the quality of most tenors today that some people consider him a quality tenor.
Another voice I`ll have to fix in a few years time after he`s had surgery!

Caro Bodiloto, eppure egli possiede uno di quei vocioni che a Lei piacevano tanto! A parte la battuta, indubbiamente il ragazzo deve ancora affinare tecnica e controllo ma mi pare che il materiale sia notevole specie a fronte del miserevole panorama canoro odierno. Quindi cerchiamo di incoraggiare e consigliare piuttosto che tarpare le ali al volonteroso giovinotto, d'accordo?

@@bodiloto Come spesso (non sempre...) Lei ha perfettamente ragione. Ma perché non prova a contattare personalmente il ragazzo proponendosi di cercare di "completare" il suo percorso (modestamente... poiché a questi giovanotti viene fatto credere subito che sono delle stars immarcessibili!) .

He is constantly out of tune! It’s the way his voice is calibrated, and is unlikely ever to get better, especially if he keeps pushing in this kind of repertoire.
caro Riscatto sono perfettamente d'accorto con te. Purtroppo è un altro cantante che viene spinto chissà da chi. Spinto come tutta la sua voce. Ieri ne La Boheme di Martone è stato un gridare dall'inizio alla fine.
@@salvatorevitiello5364 si, ed è un vera peccato perché il vocione c'e e come , secondo me manca totalmente di "buona educazione musicale", bocca spalancata, canto sguaiato e refrattario alle nuance. Ma possibile che non esiste al mondo qualche bravo insegnante (non solo vecchie glorie che si improvvisano maestri di canto) che riesca a raddrizzare voce e tecnica ai purtroppo pochissimi giovani dotati da natura come il Tetleman? Invece questi poveracci vengono letteralmente buttati sul famigerato odierno mercato lirico e richiesti di interpretare tutto il repertorio più gravoso, procurando danni spesso irreversibili e accentuando i limiti.

That's right. It's constricted forced sound. Such voice is totally out of proper control and just can't produce true legato, a real cantilena. Other words it's very bad.

@@gianlucanerone he is gifted by nature but he has bad vocal technique. It's not singing, it's scream. he plays drums with his voice. There is no cantilena at all. Pavarotti forever!

Wow.....he has a very chiaroscuro sound.....but with a lot of squillo. Perfect voice for verismo opera.
He has no chiaroscuro and no squillo. He has a lot of tremolo and that's all. It was boring, monochromic singing without colours, dynamics and nuances. Without legato, just screaming and pushing on forte.

He works hard. I wonder if this way of singing is sustainable ? Sound is good. I like the fast vibrato ( Or rather, I HATE slow vibrato) and not a baritone/tenor ( a classification that doesn't really exist. ) . Category is as much about color and timbre as it is range. Definitely a tenor quality. Plenty of ping. Just needs to relax, and let up on then gas when he shifts.

Amazing Voice. I had not heard of him until today. I loved Opera when I was in my teens. Saw Tosca when I was sixteen by the Sadler's Wells Opera.
