    I had that kit in a 68 camaro but I didn’t like the position of the coil overs, way too low, about 2” from hitting the ground, I ordered a similar kit from QA1 for a 69 camaro and it’s a perfect fit, no hitting the floorboard no hassle at all, everything about it’s better.

    Nice job on the install. Good video. What is that differential you are putting in?

      @RienksWorks thanks, I appreciate that.
      It is a 12-bolt Truetrac with 3.55 gearing. I might get it swapped to 3.90 since it has to go back to the manufacturer when it comes back from paint. They sent me a Camaro-width axle instead of Nova-width so it is about 1.25" too wide.
      I know the Ford 9" is stronger but the Chevy 12-bolt should be strong enough for this application.

      @@McCrazyWorld1 Bummer they sent the wrong one. I'm getting close to trying to figure out the rear end on my Nova. Ford 9" used to be a dime a dozen at junk yards. Not any more. I'm still debating/researching what direction on want to go. Keep up the videos!

      @@McCrazyWorld1So I just got my Ridetech in and ran into the same issue with the notch that needs to be cut out. I contacted ridetech prior to purchasing and asked them about that issue. They said they had never heard of it. Did you run into any issues by cutting the ridetech frame?

    Great job! Putting mine in soon. Would you happen to remember what size u-bolts you used? Thanks! .5 in or smaller?

      @markreddy2490 I bought two different sets of u-bolts because the first ones had the wrong inner diameter. The biggest issue is getting the correct inner diameter for your axle and the correct length for your mounts.
      I "think" these are the ones I ended up using but I'm not sure. I'm away from my house for a while so can't check all my receipts.

    What did you set your pinion angle to and how much adjustability do you have with this?

    • @McCrazyWorld1
      @McCrazyWorld1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm aiming for about 2 degrees of pinion angle. Right now it is a guess for me since I don't have the engine and transmission in the car. The pinion angle should match the engine and transmission.
      I'll finalize it once I get closer to completion.
      There is enough adjustability to alter the angle by several degrees as long as you weld the tabs onto your axle in the correct position and ride height.

      @@McCrazyWorld1 thanks. I’m having trouble with my pinion angle with my leaf spring setup and I’m considering tearing it all out for a 4-link. Good to hear there is several degrees of adjustability so I won’t end up in the same position

    • @McCrazyWorld1
      @McCrazyWorld1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kevink267 I'd guess shackles or shims are about the only way to change the pinion angle for a given set of leaf springs. They are definitely less adjustable than the 4-link.
      I would guess the links have at least an inch to an inch and half of threaded travel for all the links with full thread contact.
