Kinda like a dentist not sealing your teeth properly and insures his patients must come back for additional work/Ford wants you back to charge you $150.00-$200.00 an hour to work on your Ford. Of course, "ALL DEALER" and" MANUFACTURES" rip-off their customers the same way!!!!!!!!!!
This video seems very helpful but, I have a 1998 F150 and my third break light does not have the same wiring. Do you have another video by any chance ?

The connections should be: Black/Blue OEM Wire Connects To The Blue / Black OEM Connects To Black / Green OR White OEM (**Some People Have Said They Have White Instead Of Green**) Connects To White OR Green. liked the video very much, but i have a 95 ford f150 xl (my new led has 2 black wires and 2 red two and 2blk.) ( My old has from socket 1 to connector blk and goes to 3 socket and red strip on blk.going to connector,) (socket 2 has blk. and red with green stripe to connector. can you help thanks
Hey. I’m doing this now. I have oem wires in color. Black/blue, black and green. My new light only has three wires. In color black, blue and white. How do I match these up.
I matched them up like video said black/black ,green/white and led white lights turn on when braking and red led stay on all the time when lights are on.

@@AJPDistributor a bit late lol but i got it fixed. Just had to take off the head lining to find the connector and then rewired it from what I saw there which is exactly how you said
It has a quick connect adapter under the headliner. This is a chicken shit way to install this product. If you are going to make an installation video why not do it correctly?
Yes this would be the best route to installing your light. Removing the headliner would require more steps which we would recommend you seek professional assistance if doing so.
Great video I’m going to have to do the same exact thing with my third brake light because the adapter is under the headliner. This will be my first time having to do anything like this would you please tell me what color wire I should pair up so that I don’t mess them up when I do my install.

After 3 months of driving bet them butt connector don't hold up never cut square plug off take extra time do it right under the headliner I got lucky pulled it down a bit by the back window inline with the dome light also after replacing the light it developed a leak they make a gasket on eBay and amozon keep the rain out

Wait lol u took off the headliner to wire it lol whyy its plug and play jus take off the plug and put the new plug on it lol
Can you install some sort of sealant for around the housing , mine leaks from the third brake light area into the cab when it rains
They make a gasket ebay or Amazon has them
why no make an adapter instead of splicing wires
