You are 100% correct on the empath connection. This song is sublime. It seeps into your soul, makes you cry, breaks your heart from the pain and beauty of it all and then takes you to a magical, spiritual temple or church with those ending harmonies and offers healing.

You actually have the same kind of soul as AURORA. Positive and full of love.
The only difference - besides you being a man and she's not - will be the voice while singing :D
This song got me to tears the first time I heard it.

Aurora is a different kind of human... It is not just the name of one of her songs AND her last album.. it is the truth!
The Nidarosdomen concert are fantastic... Luck or Through The Eyes of a Child, or any song....
Or speaking about being COMPLETELY into the song: Murder Song from The Nobel Peace Prize Concert in 2015... look how she "wakes up" at the end...!

Try Lucky in Nidarosdomen. That one she wrotes when she was 9 years young!!!!!! This one is one of my favs!!! Great reaction man!!

    HXC is mesmerized.
AURoRA embodies and emenates the sound, like the sun emenates it's rays to us, she does the same w her eminent music.
This comes through especially in live performances.

I think you are a fan... she calls her fans Warriors & Weirdos. Welcome to the family! :)
I recommend Through the Eyes of a Child... any live version will do. But I personally like her Stripped live VEVO UK version best. Enjoy!

After watching a few more of her original songs - which will blow you away, I suggest checking out some of her covers. She really does an amazing job.
Life on Mars - David Bowie
God is a Woman - Ariana Grande
    Teardrop - Massive Attack
    Believer - Imagine Dragons
Across the Universe - John Lennon
Famous Blue Raincoat and So Long Marianne- Leonard Cohen

Great reaction. Aurora is special man.
If you want to stick with the older songs, i really love "Winter Bird" either the music video or Live at Nidarosdomen, quite a deep song, though i guess 95% of them are. If you want to listen to a completely different sound from her "Under the water" is a great! Up-beat, fun and quite metal (also older, from 2016 i think). The song can be interpreted in many ways. My favourite performance of that song is Live at VEVO Halloween.

This is not my favorite of hers, but it is incredibly detailed. She seems to feel and individually articulate every single word, as if every single word has its own meaning. It's unbelievable on that level, and nothing compares to it, in the odd way. It's not just the articulation, either, but she seems to feel every passage uniquely.

    Average songs topic: 'Bitches, money'
Aurora song topics: 'putting a pet down' 'rape and murder' She has such unique yet fascinating topics, and her deliverance is just.. (shills)
Aurora is proof angels do exist.

@@mariajesuspaezflores8686 Sorry for the late reaction, I did not notice it before. Yes: the song 54321 is, as I interpret it, about putting a loved one (or pet) down... and its very sad, but also amazingly on pointe. And Aurora is unique as in she was the first that I know of, that even thought about making a song about such a harsh subject. And then se goes the extra mile: as to sing it from the perspective: of the one dying. Stunning, just stunning. th-cam.com/video/jTwdGRHl5Mw/w-d-xo.html

This song it's kind of a rape and revenge Story.
The victim of a rape returns to the perpetrator full of strength to the pillow on which her blood was spilled Haunting him as a ghost.
"Don't you speak over my voice. I will return from the shadows. And I bleed in your bed, turn it red, like the ground outside your window". (He may have buried her there).
One can also say that there is no ghost at all, only the guilty conscience of the perpetrator who is now being persecuted by his act. His inner voice is louder than his own.
Here fun with Aurora. Aurora once said:

She has said she wants her songs to be able to be interpreted in different ways by different people. Depends on what they see in the song. This song could also be about an intense relationship that deteriorated and turned violent as is self destructed. Personally I find it a hell of a stretch to believe she'd refer to rape of any kind as "Love is wild".

    • @TomTomson81

@@jeffmalloy8200 She sang about serial killers keeping body parts in boxes. The song was written at a time when she was generally inspired by death and darkness. So no, it's not far-fetched and lyrically absolutely understandable. That does not rule out other perspectives and interpretations.
