How to fix broken lift gate | Will not open remotely|Nissan Armada

2010 qx 56 problem fixed because rear window on gate wasn't completely closed. I opened the window up and reclosed and it fixed the gate problem.

Where did you get appropriate bolt?

That is a special bolt that can be purchased at your local Nissan Dealer, but try searching for it first. Most likely it has fallen and is hidden down inside the lower interior.

I have a 2012 equinox..I had interior lift gate switch replace ..it open for a while but fail to work again ..what can the problem be

I would first check the fuse box for an open circuit. If fuse is good, check for power at the lift gate motor while regulating switch in open or closed position. If power is at your motor in either position open or closed, that’s an indication that your switch is good. If there is no power at your motor that is an indication that your switch could be bad or there could also be an open circuit between your switch and your motor. Also, check for proper ground at your lift gate motor.

It is also a possibility that your lift gate motor is disconnected between the motor and the internal mechanism assembly.

PS. Also your lift gate motor relay could be sticking or stuck in the open position. Hopefully these tips help.

I would start with the minor repairs by checking all my fuses.

​@bagwindydiyauto tr6 disconnecting the switch on the back. Once I did that the remote and dash buttons started working again

@@Humboldtcounty707 what switch do you mean. like the one there by the motor and actuator? My liftgate wont work with anything either, it's like it has no power but all the fuses are fine. I have to open the hatch glass and reach in to pull the manual lever behind the panel there it open it. So annoying
