She did become famous, she did get her dream of singing with Elaine Paige. I believe Simon Cowell may have stepped in after she became well known as there were some young lads bullying her, & he made sure she was protected & that no one could strip her of her financial wealth. (Not that Simon would want anyone knowing due to his image).
