I have been in love with them since the '60s all through the 70s 80s 90s and into 2000s ! I've seen hundreds of reaction videos to this song and each one is a total shock to everybody,.. anybody listening for the first time to a Bee Gees song will instantly become a super fan
Pure talent. No Auto Tune or whatever they do nowadays. They could sing beautifully anywhere anytime . Barry the guy in the middle is still cranking out hits. I adore him.
Wow I'm glad u feel that way ,u are saying the truth. One of a kind ,their harmony, their voices, their singing without an effort ,amazing ,awesome unique .wow ,wow, wow it's unbelievable..RIP BeeGees, but they're in everyone hearts .thank u 🙂 God bless 🙏🙏🙏💖💗❤
I scroll these Bee Gees videos loving the reactions from those who first-time hearing these brothers. Always smile thru the whole thing.. Chris Stapleton, too, especially COLD...
Songwriter Hall Of Fame, Rock'n Roll Hall Of Fame, Brit Award Winners, many Grammy's along their career of four and a half decades. Nr. 1 hits in a row, dozens of golden and platinum singles and albums. That's Bee Gees. Check'em out singing a medley as winners of Brit Awards, it's phenomenal.
I’ve been watching a lot of reaction videos to these old songs, it’s so much fun watching young people discover these songs. I’m so impressed they really listen and enjoy and don’t bad mouth. The 60s, 70s and 80s, we’re when the music was at its purest. You really had to be able to sing, and have real honest talent. After Millie/Vanilli sorry I know I spelled that wrong, you knew the time had come when looks and image had overtaken pure talent. I’m quite certain they weren’t the only ones. Just the ones we found out about.
Angels in heaven that’s the first thing I think of when I hear this song. I have watched literally dozens of reactors react to this song. And I’m not kidding you this song still gives me goosebumps. I have never in my life heard more perfect harmonies, a masterpiece! They sing With such raw emotion, it’s perfection in my ears.
Like you, I have watched dozens of reactions to this song. I never get tired of the bliss that this song brings to first-time listeners. I'm still not tired of listening to it myself, and I love the tiny little touches by the brothers and also by some of the musicians that I've discovered after many listens that I never would have noticed otherwise.
The BeeGees were awesome back when I was growing up. You’ll like Tragedy, You Win Again and How Do You Mend A Broken Heart. I agree nobody will Ever come close to singing like them. Loved your reaction
Great reaction always love peoples reactions when Barry hits that falsetto these guys harmonies are pure heaven and they make it look effortless the three of them just using the one microphone absolute class 😊😊😊
Love-love this song, I was a teenager when this surfaced. I can listen to this over and over, so soothing, calming, relaxing song…just beautiful! Happy that you are experiencing such an awesome group!
The Bee gees are the best harmonizes in the business I have never heard anything that could compete with them, good reaction to a great song. Listen to when the bell tolls. 🇬🇧
The oldest, the one in the center, is the only one left. They got famous as teenage singers in Australia, and gradually became internationally known, and real superstars with the Saturday Night Fever album.
I was a teenager when their songs were playing non stop (70's and 80's), they were (still are) amazing. Also great song writers, and played many instruments. They have never been matched in their type of music. They were big on disco music and love songs. If this is the first song you hear from them, you are in for a treat! I believe my favorite was "If I Can't Have You." I was such a romantic! 🥰
The Bee Gees wrote & released Too Much Heaven in 1978. It was climbing charts world wide (already #1 in US & Canada, #3 in UK) before the Jan 1979 fundraiser, “Music for UNICEF.” They then donated, in perpetuity, ALL their royalties, not just from the UNICEF event, merch & compilation album (as the other bands did, though some just for a limited time), but also their publishing rights. So, UNICEF continues to get paid, from anyone’s version & any use (including in movies, TV, commercials, etc). As the 1st band to make such a donation to charity, they were recognized for it by UN Secretary General, Kurt Waldheim & invited to the White House by President Carter. The last official tally I saw was 2017, saying UNICEF had received more than $11 million from it, for emergency food & healthcare. I’ve seen others post it hit 20 million as of 2019, but I haven’t found a solid source for that. Barry included the song on his 2021 hit album, Greenfields, so that (duet with Alison Krauss) will bring UNICEF a new revenue stream.
I love them! I grew up listening to them. The disco era and Saturday Night Fever. They are awesome. The ones to the left and right of Barry in the middle are twins. We’re I should say. Barry is the sole survivor of these guys. His voice was magical. Heaven sent and they wrote so many songs. Including Andy Gibbs songs. Do Stayin Alive and I should be Dancing.
The Bee Gees have so many songs from 5 decades. One reactor has done over 90 of their songs. .From the major hits to their album cuts- there is so much talent in their singing, songwriting, and production.Their live concerts were so good. Each of them also produced solo albums! You will be going down a very deep rabbit hole with the Gibb Brothers ( including their younger brother Andy Gibb).
4 brothers Baby Andy.. shadow dancing..he was great so like brother Barry. Check it out . So much talent in that one family..check their autobiography..amazing, n all their interviews..amazingly funny British humour....
The guys sound live the same as their studio albums…they are the best! Great reaction! They donated the proceeds from this song to UNICEF to feed starving children world wide. This was way before other bands got on the social activist band wagon. They are/ were really nice guys, super talented and hysterical to boot! They all were, but Barry in particular is super family oriented. He took his wife and kids with him on tour. When they moved to Miami in the 70’s…Barry made sure the whole clan came. He moved his parents, his wife’s parents, etc over….he always said without family you have nothing. At one time the brothers all had houses near each other in Miami Beach. Robin spent a lot of time still in England and Long Island as his kids from his 1st marriage were still with their mom in England. I am so great full for these videos on TH-cam etc., I miss them …they were the soundtrack to my life. If you haven’t, check out a 1967 version of To Love Somebody…just magical.
Watch their doco. These guys sang together since they were little-uns. Mum was a singer, sister and little bro were great singers too. Andy wrote hits too. Born in the UK, grew up in australia started on telly in the 60's, played a pub before that. By 21 Barry and his younger twin bros were masters at their craft. Went back to the UK, and on to the USA. Learned falsetto was possible recording "Nights on Broadway." Played and competed with their voices as bros do. Barry could add vibrato and hold his falsetto longer so they ran with it. Wrote over 1,000 songs, many hits for other big artists as well. Told his dad, "I onlty ever put emotions to music," when asked how he wrote so many songs. Barry put out a duets album mid-covid.
Barry's 3 yrs older than the twins Mauricexxxxxxx n Robinsxxxxx adore them great songwriters write all their songs thousands of them..hundreds for others.
Make note that you have SO much of their music to catch up on. Saturday night fever album is one. Watch them onstage sing "How do you mend a broken heart."
You know you could also go in the way back machine to 1967, and check out their song To Love Somebody if you have not already heard it, and Night Fever is also a good one. Make sure you also check out their younger brother Andy Gibb. I would start with Shadow Dancing on Andy.
THEY BEGAN SINGING IN 1958 BEFORE THEY WERE 10 AS THE BROTHERS GIBB. THIS CHANGED TO THE BEE GEES ABOUT 15 YEARS LATER AND ONLY THE GUY IN THE CENTER (BARRY GIBB) IS STILL LIVING. THE OTHER 2 BROTHERS HAVE PASSED AWAY. ROBIN (LEFT) & MAURICE (RIGHT). DEFINATELY KEEP EXPLORING.
Yep, the Gibbs are unmatched to this day for diversity of vocals and talent. Barry certainly walked the talk…he and his wife have been together for around 50 years. And dude, Hellmann’s…there’s a pantry for that. 😆
A suggestion I would like is, Fanny be tender with my love, if you haven't heard it. So so many great songs to choose from and I've always been a big fan of the Bee Gees but just discovered this song recently.
These guys were a tad bit before my time. But I remember my brother (who was 15 years older than me) always strumming and singing, hitting those Bee Gee high notes.
"How Deep is Your Love" is another amazing, relaxing love song from them (if you haven't reacted to it already). . I'm pretty sure this version of Too Much Heaven is lipsynced for this promo film and that there are actually multitracks of their voices on it which adds to the lush sound. The only truly live performances I've seen have this are their normal voices ( not falsetto) and it sounds just as brilliant.
I like the Mayonnaise at the back. Send my greetings!!! Duffy, you’re really inspiring me here you know. Thank you. I love this song♥️ men had longer hair back then.🔥🔥🔥 listen to those falsettos 🔥🔥🔥🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
A lot of people insist on comparing the Beatles with the Bee Gees, but I think they are bands of different styles, both with immense talent, so much so that they drew crowds and made a resounding worldwide success. But I believe the Bee Gees had more musical capabilities, vocals and versatility than the Beatles. But, I emphasize, it's just my impression as a fan of good music. Júlio César, from Brazil.
Love it!!! New subscriber too!! Not to take away from Barry’s incredible falsetto and writing, but could you PLEASE react to Steelheart’s “She’s Gone” or “I’ll Never Let You Go”....I’d LOVE to see your react to the lead singer’s astonishing range....😁😁😁 Thank you for what you do...I’ve got really severe PTS related anxiety and rarely leave my house anymore....reactors like you keep me interacting with folks
First, great reaction! Second, Barry is not the oldest (oldest of the male Gibbs, yes). The oldest Gibb is Leslie, who was in their singing group for a short while. She's living in Australia, is married & has a large family. And third, is that a jar of mayonnaise on the back of your couch??
OK one more thing you said to give you some suggestions I’ve got a couple. Fanny be tender with my love, run to me, and love you inside and out. OK more than a couple I gave you three.
You're joking, you're messing with us. Everyone's heard of the BeeGees unless you were from an island and just transported to civilization? Or something like that? 😉
I'm not a big fan of the Bee Gees but I know that they sing great songs, and they're very cool. It's a good ambiance, my man, their music. It's good to see your comments, yeah, bro. Excellent, keep it up!! 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🙃😁
I have been in love with them since the '60s all through the 70s 80s 90s and into 2000s ! I've seen hundreds of reaction videos to this song and each one is a total shock to everybody,.. anybody listening for the first time to a Bee Gees song will instantly become a super fan
First time watching your reaction, especially with my all time FAVORITE group BEE GEES ♥️🎶🎵
Love your reaction to hearing pure talent!!!!
Pure talent. No Auto Tune or whatever they do nowadays. They could sing beautifully anywhere anytime . Barry the guy in the middle is still cranking out hits. I adore him.

Such beautiful diction! Wonderful phrasing! Perfectly in sync!
Barry Gibb's falsetto even have vibrato such a rare talent and their harmony is so flawless like it's one person singing
Singing Angels called The BeeGees!
The BeeGees were awesome back when I was growing up. You’ll like Tragedy, You Win Again and How Do You Mend A Broken Heart. I agree nobody will Ever come close to singing like them. Loved your reaction

The Bee gees are the best harmonizes in the business I have never heard anything that could compete with them, good reaction to a great song. Listen to when the bell tolls. 🇬🇧
Saw them in 1979 in the Vancouver Coliseum. Live no auto tune. Magic!
The oldest, the one in the center, is the only one left. They got famous as teenage singers in Australia, and gradually became internationally known, and real superstars with the Saturday Night Fever album.
They got famous in Australia before returning home to the UK and that’s when they blew up worldwide.
I was a teenager when their songs were playing non stop (70's and 80's), they were (still are) amazing. Also great song writers, and played many instruments. There was four Bee Gee brothers. Andy passed away at a young age. All four sound incredible.
I don't think you realized how mesmerized you looked during this reaction.

There are videos of the Bee Gees going all the way back to 1960. They began singing as a group in 1958!

Thanks so much! And I had no idea she was in the band! And how did that get there 😳
Hopefully you've heard Andy - their little brother.
