He had as good a round as anyone, but he was also playing against the other best players in the world. At least the bills are already paid, so the thing about rather getting 3rd than 2nd is the truth.
@James Satchwill It's special when you can get skilled people with good personalities that also appear to be decent human beings without too much ego. Disc golf probably had that all along, but now it's really on display and the quality of play and footage is at an all-time high.

Oh absolutely. Commentary is not easy, as it can start to sound forced. BigSexyBari has a nice conversational flow, and the fact that they are still impressed by shots let's you know just how good these guys are.

My favorite part about watching these events is that these guys all are great to root for and no matter who wins it feels like a special tourney. So many great personalities on tour.

2:27 Hole 10, though seemingly simple, exemplifies how good Ricky has gotten this year. That was a Conrad shot to perfection, when a year ago Ricky would have thrown a forehand. His putt is ridiculous this year, too. He’s the model for constantly improving, even when you’re already one of the world’s best.
Amazing to see my favorite player bag a win! Against a three horse race with the previous tournaments champ and the undisputed GOAT no less. What a round

Idk why exactly, but I haven't been too much of a Ricky fan in the past, but hearing how genuinely he was giving support to all his fellow card-mates this tournament and his phenomenal performance really made me appreciate him in a new light. So excited to see the big 3 here in many more finals cards to come
Great stuff Jomez. Editing, commentary, all of it. Cale put together such a great course. This is the future, or what I think should be the future of disc golf. A VERY scoreable course, yet hard enough that it keeps players out of that 40 under range on a 3 day tournament. Also accommodating to the larger crowds that are coming to watch. You can tell he put a ton of thought and work into this course.
The 3 best in the game. That was something special to watch. McBeth, Wysocki and McMahon are magicians out there. So close to a epic 3 way playoff. I think Jomez needs to go live with their coverage now though.. Then show that live coverage later. I still love to watch post coverage for days, but big sexy berry live coverage would be next level!
I looked at the live UDisc score when they were on hole 12 on Sunday and couldn’t bring myself to watch. I’m a super Ricky fan boi and I was too nervous to watch or look at the scores. The man, the myth, the legend pulls through. GG’s Richard. Congrats on the hard-fought dub.
Nothing but love here for the Jomez crew being able to put together a top quality production on such a quick turnaround. Although, I do think with this tournament specifically, there could be a little more situational awareness when piecing together the final edit. We all love the post productions ability to give us quick cut, to the point angles and commentary, to a game that relies heavily on the athlete's patience and focus, but for a back nine like this that had a different leader each hole, 3 of the worlds best players trading blows to wrap up the Preserve Championship, I personally desired quite a bit more emphasis highlighting the suspense, anxiety, and heartbreak. By allowing more time in between shot edits, the viewers can make their own predictions on the next stroke, rather than being told the commentators predictions, and I feel that little detail could go a very very long way in future productions. Appreciate all the hard work boys, keep 'em comin'.

Really enjoying the high shot drone footage of the preferable lines. Not sure that it replaces the standard drone flyby but really does a good job to illustrate the hole. Perhaps a PIP of the high shot alongside of the standard drone flyby would be ideal...but honestly that is a bit greedy and I cannot stress how great the evolution of Jomez coverage has been. Love the flight distance and disc stats as well. All of it so good Jomez! Keep up the good work boys!!! Thank you!

Sadly, some donkey posted a video that appeared in my "recommended" yesterday that showed the winner. It said the winner dropped the trophy with a thumbnail showing the winner with the trophy. I clicked "don't show this channel." I try to avoid spoilers at all cost.

This is one of, if not the best course for the pro tour. Not my favorite but I believe it is the best. No silly out of bounds. No 15 mandatories. No 27 trees to get lucky around on 15 of the 18 holes. This is consistency of the best. And it shows with these top players coming down to the wire...
Jomez productions with these three commentators is ESPN quality, it’s really next level. With the other productions looking more like high school friends doing a half assed homework project.
Jomez had to climb to make it this good. The other guys will get better or jomez will start up another crew and start doing chase cards too. Then expand into the fpo coverage.
Such a fantastic B9. So exciting! I love good disc golf, and these guys brought it. As exciting as worlds, but not as heart breaking, so more fun to watch for sure.
