Regarding the harsh ride on the new C63: We (like you guys) noticed the high tire pressures in the video, and came to the conclusion that that could be causing the harshness we felt. We get these cars (usually) from the manufacturers and they are responsible for setting the car up in the way they feel is best to represent what the car can do. Mercedes Canada delivered the car to us with those tire pressures, and honestly we didn't think twice about it. But now seeing the ridiculously high pressures it's possible they messed up, overfilled them and ruined the ride. Hopefully in the future we can re-test the car with proper pressures and we will happily report back to everyone if our opinion changes! Thanks for watching!
If you use the recommended tire pressures in the W205 C63, the ride is quite stiff. Actually it’s stiffer than my AMG GTC in comfort. This is with the stiffer suspension offered as an option as part of the performance package. It came standard with the 507 Edition. Pressures should be in the 30psi range, certainly not 50!
Fluterra what would u recommend my brother? I did a quick google search and I’m seeing some 36/32 comments, which isn’t much different than the 37/33. Either ways the dealerships always put way too much air in.

2005-2010 was a great era for performance. The last of the big naturally aspirated engines shoehorned into small or medium cars. Big engines have soul.

W204 is a timeless design. I’ve driven the pre facelift sedan and a 507 coupe. The 507 is amazing. Both of them were way easier to drive than I thought.
my friend bought a higher mileage (100K) W204. His family and everyone told him not to get one, due to their perception of reliability. He had me drive the thing, I was honestly not expecting much, but for such high mileage it is an exceptionally fun car. He has only had some minor electrical issues but engine wise everything is good. His engine was made by Tobias, which apparently is a sought after AMG engine builder.

I consistently run 3.8-3.95 seconds 0-60 in my 2013 P31 C63 AMG with 12.0-12.25ish 1/4 mile times. The car is an absolute blast to drive and one of my favorite cars for the value! The 4.4 0-60times for the W204 (not entirely sure if that's with or without the AMG Development Package) was a bit understated by Mercedes.
100%. They even claimed that the black series and 507 edition were 4.2 second cars.. They just tryna make customers think it feel quicker than expected
@@marsallen4298 There's genuinely no way it's anything more than a 4.5 second car and that's being conservative. The C300 has half the horsepower of the C63. It wasn't racing you.
What is the difference between the P31 and the black series? I heard the P31 has a limited slip diff or something instead of the open diff the W204 C63 normally has.
Can't really say personally since I've never been in the 204 version, but I honestly love my 2018 s. I love that I still have the very low V8 grunt plus the high end push of the turbos, and the blowoff valve to play with. The ride in comfort doesn't seem all that harsh to me, but then I'm used to race-tuned suspensions anyway. For me it's practically a perfect daily. I just can't complain about a single thing, and since I got it for less than 60k, I'm pleased. its also the red with black wheels and black interior so, yeah. I'm a happy guy and don't regret a thing.
It looks so dated. That’s the thing about bmw, even the e46 m3 still looks good today. The e92 aged so much better than its e63 counterpart. Only time will tell how people will feel about the m4 years from now but the e46 and e92 are solidified... Benz on the other hand, I mean it sounds great but god is that a dated look.
The W204 will always be my favorite C Class. I had one and I absolutely loved throwing it around corners and kicking the back end out. I’ll miss that car until I die.

Best engines? Thing is a maintenance nightmare. The only modular v8 I’d trust is a Toyota/Lexus or a Ford 5.0….The last good Mercedes were in the 80’s. They’re still super nice and luxurious today, but they’re not built to last.

The fake exhaust is becuase it gives more freedom designing the rear bumper of the car. The exhaust moves quite a bit and if it's form fitted to the bumper it can damage the bumper and melt the plastic. That's why it's separate. Those exhausts that you see that don't have false tips, they have a large gap to accommodate the movement of the exhaust and dissipation of heat, but they aren't form fitted as tightly. The w205 c63s stock is very loose on the rear end, maybe not as slippery as w204 c63 stock.

Ive got the new 63, and had a 6.2 as well. I can see the new car is much louder in person but the 6.2 is much more authentic sounding with the deep v8 rumble. The new car handles much better too.

I leased a 2015 W204 C63 507 Edition in November 2014 and bought it after my lease was up in November 2018. I keep it stock and only my local Mercedes Benz AMG technicians are allow to work on it. I haven’t had any problems with my ownership so far. Love the ride every time I get behind the wheel. Keep your car up with maintenance and the car will love you back.
I used to own a w204 c300 4matic and minus the fact that it was pretty slow, it was a really really great car. It was lowered and handled so well, and it looked amazing. I just cant imagine how good a c63 would be
I got a 507edition and I love mine.... beat a few c63s in the runs I've had... can't wait for stage 3 supercharger to come. Just to add a full exhaust with headers adds 90hp on the stock setup
Having been an owner of a W204 C63 Edition 507 since 2015, I couldn't part with it, I tried a C63s Edition 1 Motorsport, it was fantastic, but didn't give me the same fun and smile on my face than the 507, modern classic, plus its held its value remarkably well.
I couldn't tell if you were purposely over accelerating in the corners to kick the rear out, or if you simply can't drive. But my 12 coupe doesn't have any issues with second and hard turns and it's well over 500hp on stock suspension and stock wheels.
the 204s were built like tanks, you can feel it in the solid doors and hood.. the 205 cost cut and no longer is the solid vault that its predecessor was
The problem I have with the looks of the new one is that its too fancy. It really doesn't look sporty, it just looks like a luxury cruiser. The old one has aggressive and bold looks, and the backend is actually so iconic. That old C63 is peak AMG imo.
Around that time period, CL65 is the real style winner but the C63 still looks amazing. Also I prefer the interior of the older one because it doesn't have such a big ugly screen
I have a 2009 c93 bought new traded my Porsche 40 anniversary for it. Only 20 k miles so far! No problem at all. Love it until now. The roaring sound put a smile to your face every time!
I bought c63 7 years ago and i am still driving it. Car from my dream. If you want beast on asphalt who spit fire this is car for you. I remembered when BMW M6 tried to overtake me after i overtake him, that was fucking good race. His max speed was about 240-250 kmh, i did it 295 kmh. After few miles he lost me from radar. AMG POWER.
Maybe EU instead of focusing on cars and killing the motor industry, should start focusing on livestock as it is nth time worse for the planet than the emissions produced by cars. It's sad that soon we won't hear the rumble of a V8 anymore :(

I can agree with this comment. Anytime they service my car they fill it back to 41psi each tire. It rides a lot better at 37 front 33 back.

N54 N55 B58 e92 is fast but it’s just not as fast as the merc. 4 litres vs 6.2 litres the merc is gonna have so much more torque.

I'll post it in the comments but ironically I got a Canadian AMG development pack, with the LSD, Lighting pack, and CF pack as well. White/black with 19s and the red calipers.
Ive got the new 63, and had a 6.2 as well. I can see the new car is much louder in person but the 6.2 is much more authentic sounding with the deep v8 rumble. The new car handles much better too.

I was able to pick me up a 2013 W204 C63 and its absolutely crazy. It pulls you back and you just feel the wave of acceleration

I know you're obsessed with the M series and Beemer in general, but man I honestly think they use too many easy wear parts in the engine compartment. Hence their abysmal durability. And that's a shame, honestly, and they SHOULD be shamed until they address that. That said, good to see you guys doing videos again you have the most unique and fun rapport of any car reviewers, and hence the most overall entertaining, I've seen. And yeah I've seen a LOT of them. COVID ya know.

@@d4rryl233 honestly I like the slightly older generations than the 2010-2013ish generations. My dad owns a w212 e class and I dont really like it's interior compared to his older ml500.

If you see the newest model released, I prefer the older interior because of the detail and design they put in it.the new one(w223) is just a big tablet in the middle and nothing else. Not too many people like this design, and I agree with them.
jnewmen 411 I think it is mainly the mutex dash. I don’t really like that style dashboard since it just looks like plastic and overall I don’t like black interiors

Man I love C63S coupe. The look, V8 roars, handling and above all when you put pedal to metal its gave you uncertainty for a fraction of the second that may or may not kill you feeling.
Mercedes is so elegant and has a nice youthful vibe too it now

I leased a 2015 W204 C63 507 Edition in November 2014 and bought it after my lease was up in November 2018. I keep it stock and only my local Mercedes Benz AMG technicians are allow to work on it. I haven’t had any problems with my ownership so far. Love the ride every time I get behind the wheel. Keep your car up with maintenance and the car will love you back.

I used to own a w204 c300 4matic and minus the fact that it was pretty slow, it was a really really great car. It was lowered and handled so well, and it looked amazing. I just cant imagine how good a c63 would be

I got a 507edition and I love mine.... beat a few c63s in the runs I've had... can't wait for stage 3 supercharger to come. Just to add a full exhaust with headers adds 90hp on the stock setup

Having been an owner of a W204 C63 Edition 507 since 2015, I couldn't part with it, I tried a C63s Edition 1 Motorsport, it was fantastic, but didn't give me the same fun and smile on my face than the 507, modern classic, plus its held its value remarkably well.
Emotion over performance. Old over new, my vote.

I couldn't tell if you were purposely over accelerating in the corners to kick the rear out, or if you simply can't drive. But my 12 coupe doesn't have any issues with second and hard turns and it's well over 500hp on stock suspension and stock wheels.
the 204s were built like tanks, you can feel it in the solid doors and hood.. the 205 cost cut and no longer is the solid vault that its predecessor was
C63 w204 had the real AMG's soul.

The problem I have with the looks of the new one is that its too fancy. It really doesn't look sporty, it just looks like a luxury cruiser. The old one has aggressive and bold looks, and the backend is actually so iconic. That old C63 is peak AMG imo.

Around that time period, CL65 is the real style winner but the C63 still looks amazing. Also I prefer the interior of the older one because it doesn't have such a big ugly screen
I have a 2009 c93 bought new traded my Porsche 40 anniversary for it. Only 20 k miles so far! No problem at all. Love it until now. The roaring sound put a smile to your face every time!

I bought c63 7 years ago and i am still driving it. Car from my dream. If you want beast on asphalt who spit fire this is car for you. I remembered when BMW M6 tried to overtake me after i overtake him, that was fucking good race. His max speed was about 240-250 kmh, i did it 295 kmh. After few miles he lost me from radar.
