In the drive belt area you said" I'll have to take all this stuff off." I drilled a hole through the inner plastic wall to access and replace the starter. Now they have a tool that cost @ 100$ But to just use it once or twice it wasn't worth it, to me. And then cover hole afterwards to seal it.
I have a trail boss 330 2005, and um any idea why its not starting? We got a new CDI, a new ECI or ECM brain module, a new muffler added, and now we need to change the stator and there’s no spark or no electric start going on. We have the battery charged but its still not sparking.
I knew mine has Ben sitting for about 10 years now parents really don't like me trying to fix my own stuff unlike I do now so it sat due to a a no start would turn over then backfire last time I tried starting a few years ago idk if it's the carb or another issue.
An update: I have the spark but it disappears after it sparks once and all these other videos you see on here are crap, disconnected the CDI annnnd that still doesn’t fix the issue
The cdi is the brain for spark, it can't ever be unplugged or nothing will work. Sounds like a weak connection of the ignition coil or a bad ignition coil.
If I were to say why they didn’t use a radiator I’d have to say because like the scrambler 400 I ride you hit a stick and that fucker goes right into the radiator somehow someway all the time
I’ve never ever worked on a quad thats this bad to not start, has compression, has spark, there’s fuel, not sure why it won’t start…Hondas are better in my opinion
Well got the spark back but won’t start…I’m frustrated

Help on 2004 trail boss. Replacing oil cooler lines. Dose it matter which hose goes where?
I have no spark and everything’s hooked up. What should I check?
Do you know if there is a wiring diagram for a 2003 trail boss 330 cdi box?
My 2005 330 trail boss is overheating do you know what I can check to fix it?
My polaris has spark but can't start the airbox is on and same with the air pipe as well. Any idea? Timing????? I don't have the tools to time it.

Also could the rectifier be the problem?
Check the ignition coil. Also check to make sure the ignition coil is getting power. Always work backwards from the issue
@@Throttleoutmedi4 well we got the new ignition coil installed and there’s no spark. This is hard, I got a polaris trailboss 330 2005 model
@@Throttleoutmedi4 there’s also a new engine starter too :(
Also new carbs, and Idk what else is new

I have a polaris trail boss 330 2005, and the oil cooling = harder to over heat
I disagree with that, if that were the case everything else would be oil cooled. The heat exchange for water is way for efficient than oil.
It's just to help keep the weight down and still allow it to be used in hot environments
@@saltyhamslam7991 Yup, less weight and less parts!
You can replace the starter from up top you don’t have to take the clutch off 30 min job I have the same bike .
I needed to take the clutch off anyways but isn't the airbox and carb in the way?
wait, really? what tools did you use? im doing it rn
Life saver I’m buying one in about a week guy says needs a started doing research thanks
The pull starter is stuck on mine, any idea what it can be??
Throw out gear is probably bad
What's the top speed limit?
Around 45
50 is pushing it
Cool video

@@Throttleoutmedi4 welp constant spark is back……annnnnd still won’t start
Muy buen video

No design flaw. It's called making money.
