    These videos are really good. As I get deeper into Blender, I'm constantly referencing them. They are very tuned to delivering instruction effectively. I endure so many poorly produced instructional vids, so that when I come across good ones they are very appreciated. Kudos to Collin!

    Thanks! Great stuff. Awesome as always :D !
    Please make a vid on how one can animate the camera, switching between cameras, switching smoothly between targets, following a path, and smoothly adjusting the camera's speed along the path.

    Wonderful set of tips. Thanks. I keep forgetting a few of those, and a couple I didn't know existed. Very cool.

    Changing the size is handy for framing. If you have a 1:1 aspect ratio the camera at its default size is 1 blender unit. With other ratios the larger value is one unit.
    The depth is determined by the sensor size and focal length.
    If you set the viewport size to the area you want to cover you can use the rectangle to set the right height and distance to ensure everything is in frame.
    For some it's easier to do it that way and fine tune in the camera view than frame using the viewport or grabbing and rotating at the default size.

    Really enjoying your Blender vids Somehow my brain really clicks with your way of explaining things Thank you. Often wondered with cameras why there clipping at all ?? I dont see the purpose

    • @BornCG
      @BornCG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Cameras clip to save performance .. at least far clipping.. so they don’t have to draw items too far away. Video games often used to do this too.

      VFX in blender continues to be something I'm interested in... Though for the foreseeable future all my blender tutorials are going to be in my current 'let's learn blender' series, just that there might be a VFX tutorial thrown in every so often.
