My E90 M3 is starting to climb in age and the maintenance intervals are starting to come up so for this video I bring it in for the transmission service and flush! when you do the Maintenace and repairs yourself, cost is cheap and these cars are a dream; but if you depend on a shop... adios money!! SMG motor failed on one of my E60 M5s, yeah I have couple: parts cost - $445 for SMG motor kit, fluids - 2L Pentosin - $40, 3L of smg transmission oil - $120. I did all repairs and serviced the transmission in one shot. Total cost: $605, plus 2 double doubles with pickles from In n Out burger with an extra large shake to celebrate!
