Not putting The Jetsons there is pretty criminal. That show inspire many cartoons to start becoming televised as a result and it was the first show that inspired the idea of Sci Fi as a genre.
What about the Flintstones?
You cannot include everything (well, technically you can, but the video would be incredibly long) and Jetsons are kinda a spin off of Flinstones (I mean, the same idea, with people living in the distant future instead of distant past), who were mentioned. Yes, I also dislike that Jetsons often get forgotten about when Flinstones are remembered, but it makes sense to include only one of those two.
What I miss here are the Penguins of Madagascar. And of the Cartoon Network productions, one definitely should have mentioned Cow and Chicken. Both revolutionary in some way.
Meanwhile, I really have no idea what's special about Bob the Builder. An animated show like many others... Yes, I liked it when I was a kid, but I can't see anything revolutionary in it.
This vídeo the Jetsons not here
Ren and Stimpy should have its own on here. The animation was groundbreaking and ahead of its time and still a timeless piece of work in its entirely. To me, it had that Tom and Jerry effect, but in the 90s. I remember watching Scooby Doo, GI Joe, Voltron, Animaniacs, Aeon Flux, South Park and Beavis and Butt Head. The variety was golden. As I come to think of it, Beetlejuice was another unique one... and then there was old school anime like Akira, Fist of the North Star. I can go on. There was one that I wish I should have taken more seriously was watching Pokémon. God bless America because no other place in the world had these opportunities growing up watching all these brilliant art through animation. We had it better than most
Tom and jerry still in my heart 💖
Mine too
Even for WB Animation, "Tom & Jerry Tales" was way better.
Alternate title: 8 minutes and 9 seconds of pure nostalgia
1990s and early 2000s were way better.
What about Courage the Cowardly Dog?! The animation used in that show was extremely unique

I’m 19 but for some reason I grew up watching Tom and Jerry, Felix the cat and looney toons, there’s just something about those silent film era cartoons that newer shows fail to capture.
Thanks for making this! I didn't watch this in 2021 tho but it's the best video ever cause knowledge! I vote Popeye and Flintstones.
Cool Video!
But Fritz The Cat it's Rated X or NC-17

Excellent cartoons.
I was honestly was not expecting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
There are mistakes like Popeye as animation was in 1933.
Woody Woodpecker exist since 1940s.
Fritz the Katz made in 1973.
My personal fvt. Tom And Jerry
𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚎
Do the 1900-2024 cartoon evaluation pls
Weren't Jessica Rabbit and Avatar pretty groundbreaking? My all-time favorite is still Snow White - the animation is so fluid.
Tom and Jerry - legend of multi-world
1940-Tom And Jerry

Where is bluey? That show needs to be in here.
ahh some of my childhood animated cartoons are here
It's the steamboat while and loney tunes and the betty boop for me
You forgot Disney Cinderella 1950.
Pink Panther is my favorite character! :)
7:52 I screamed when I saw Trolls!!!💖
You forgot Cinderella. One of my favorite movies.
Cartoons that you missed:Sinkin in the bathhub, the Jetsons,Roadrunner and ducktales
Just scanning through the video and reading the comments, there appears to be quite a few inaccuracies in the video. You also skipped over some significant pieces from animation history. Disney's first Saturday morning cartoons (and the beginning of Disney TV animation), Wuzzles and Gummi Bears in 1985, the first Nicktoons. You had nothing for 1991 at all. I understand that copyright is a thing but it feels off with those things not even being acknowledged. It also feels off when you show something starting in one year and use a more modern clip of it (like showing the modern Nickelodeon bits for the 70s, newer Simpsons clips for 1989).
Like, for example, he put Tom and Jerry for 1940. Yes, the characters debuted in 1940, but they were named Jasper and Jinx at that point, and the clip he showed was from 1947's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mouse." So he should've either put 1947, or actually showed a Tom and Jerry clip from 1940.
As a huge Tom and Jerry fan, that's my only nit-pick. Overall, it's a great video.
And also Thomas is not animation is live action models and the title should be Thomas & Friends or Thomas the tank engine
gotta love how absolutely nothing happened in the year 2000, except Dora the Explorer and Harvey Birdman Lawyer Guy
You forgot Dinner Time from 1928, the first cartoon with sincronized sound(no, that's not Steambot Willie). You also forgot Plane Crazy from 1928, the first Mickey Mouse short, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit from 1927, and The skeleton dance from 1929, the first Walt Disney's silly simphony
The first sound cartoon was My Old Kentucky Home (1927) by Max Fleicher
Can't believe you did not include Rick and Morty...
1:42 is 1944 not 1934
1:44 big mistake
Daffy's first appearance was in 1937 not 1934 and this footage is not his first appearance! That's from 1943
Yes you are right I messed up the year, good catch thank you!
@@ThePickleNickel 0:03 what the music??
Daffy's first appearance was in 1937.
Tom and Jerry is not only a cartoon ,it is emotion of many person's
Woody Woodpecker actually debuted in 1940
Woody Woodpecker, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry. So many legendary cartoons debuted in 1940!!!
@@generalgrievous3731 well technically you can’t really call 1940 Bugs debut as a prototype appeared in “Porky’s Hare Hunt” however 1940 was the year when Bugs truly began
