The fact he gave Ichiban a chance to stop him from killing the chairman, but only if he made it in time to do so, then blaming it on Ichiban for being late - is the most Sawashiro thing ever.
even if it wasn't Jo in the end, doesn't change much with him still blaming Ichi for being late after giving him the tip - Sawashiro being Sawashiro and we love it
The twist was unexpected but it creates a problem. It shows how Ichiban was destined for the yakuza life no matter what locker was opened if the babies managed to survived. It hurts the legitimacy of starting from rock bottom.
well Ichiban's imagination is massive, so what you see is the result of Ichiban's imagination, i must admit the idea of Saeko using a fucking spear is more than likely a very sharp pole.
I really wish the weapons the characters use were canonized. They made a big deal out of Ichiban finding the bat, they shouldve showed him wielding it in cutscenes!🙁
@@chiefsmokingdragon Yeah, but he brought this to himself. As a metalhead, I instantly started banging. I like to think how giving Sawashiro the only true metal track in the setlist was the devs' idea of telling us how we should not take him head-on and keep level-headed, as he is pretty "metal": Not fucking around, showing his prowess and extreme adaptability in martial arts and fighting like an uncaged tiger. As much as I despised him, I loved the fight and the theme. Only Tendo's theme surpasses it in terms of the stakes and importance of the fight imao.
