I think he even only attacked ichiban once in the entire fight and when he was gonna use God's Right on Zhao, he was one essence of mayhem away from being dead.

13:53 I don't wanna complain too much, but this part REALLY pissed me off. The dialogue here is directly implying that when Tendo is charging up his God's Right Hand, you have to find a way to stun him, while he is charging: "We've gotta try to throw him off". But in actuality, if he targets Ichiban with it, the only way you can avoid it, is by using Peerless Resolve. I made it halfway through multiple times, and ended up dying, because I took what the dialogue gave me here, and tried to use my best offensive abilities when he was charging. Call me an idiot, but I thought that the game was trying to give me a hint to survive. But would you really blame me for paying attention to what the game was telling me? Don't get me wrong, it's a great boss fight, probably the best in the game (and the music is just FIRE), but I really think that they should have changed the dialogue there, and not give a false hint. Or I am just an idiot, and don't know how JRPGS work, I guess.
Самый сложный бой с боссом - против Маджимы и Тайги при первом прохождении. Иногда они могут за один удар вырубить Касугу. Бои с Кирю и Тендо несложные, их задача - продержаться ход врага и иметь бенто
Tendo sitting in Lalitasana is imagery I only now have noticed. What a perfect little detail to highlight his self-indulged supremacy together with the empty/clouded pearl on his back-tattoo.
My first time fighting Tendo he whipped out the God's warning, then in the same turn, hit Ichiban with the God's right hand. I DIDN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO DO PEERLESS RESOLVE💀💀
So there's just one thing I haven't understood. We fought the real Tendo or was he Mirror Face? Which one was the one who gave us the Assist in the final battle?
I beat him on my third try. I was kind of annoyed and started to feel defeated not mainly by the fight, but because I didn't want to go through the entire tower again as, despite being easy, just takes too much time. I beat him by poisoning him, being patient, and waiting for him to have his attention on anybody but Ichiban, and hopefully not on Saeko as she is my best healer. So, with that, and a bit of luck due to Tendo on the third attempt using his one-hit punch less than before, he went down. I believe Infinite Wealth allows you to move your character, something this game doesn't, but character placement is still important so you have to wait whether that's to get the best attack in or avoid hits.
This fight woulda been easier than Majima or Kiryu if he hadn’t brought out that fucking God hand move Wanna know what’s worse? The first time I fought him, he used that move on FUCKING KASUGA!(Didn’t even have the time to prep before hand either, it was Joon Gi’s turn) 2nd time I beat his ass tho, he threw nothing but lefts and that one right on Saeko(the pain, oh the pain, would be a shame if he used it again on Adachi- he fucking used it on Adachi)
I think this fighting system made this fight in particular that much more intense. Motherfucker is fighting in the Dragon engine and we're stuck with the LAD Engine
Dunno if you've replayed the game in the last year since this post, but can confirm, he absolutely uses it on normal, he just has no real pattern so if you're lucky he just won't use it, or if you're not he'll charge it and use it immediately before you can even try to set up countermeasures
The fact that Tendo was this strong even when taking on 4 already formidable opponents is insane. I'd argue that he would be an equal to Kiryu and Saejima.
wouldn’t go that far, he’s a total beast in his own right- but he definitely doesn’t hold a candle to Kiryu or Saejima. yeah he’s got a dragon on his back, but we’ve seen Kiryu destroy other dragons before. to say Tendo is on-par with him, would mean Tendo is capable of beating another “dragon”. and he couldn’t even beat a rising dragonfish.

yeah, tendo was easy compared to majima, and I went after majima after beating arena twice, I barely leveled after that and still beat tendo
if you thought that the mad dog of shimano or the great dragon kiryu was hard,
Allow me to introduce you to a hydra.
they're both stronger than Tendo... they were both just holding back.
@@morgan0__o Yeah. Even mechanic wise Tendo isn't really that hard, his fight is just very long, an endurance test.
While he was an excruciatingly fight he never attacked ichiban once with gods right hand. If he did I must have dodged it because ichiban never died
This soundtrack is just beautiful. It sounds like a mech charging up, which goes to show what Tendo does is practically inhuman.
It wants you to hit him with silences or stuns
@@commanderodinstark3416 Yeah I stunned him and it worked out for me
Самый сложный бой с боссом - против Маджимы и Тайги при первом прохождении. Иногда они могут за один удар вырубить Касугу. Бои с Кирю и Тендо несложные, их задача - продержаться ход врага и иметь бенто
2:55 Is where the cool dramatic stuff start! :)
Tendo sitting in Lalitasana is imagery I only now have noticed. What a perfect little detail to highlight his self-indulged supremacy together with the empty/clouded pearl on his back-tattoo.
Lol I know this is a game, but imagine jump kicking someone like that and they just stand there scowling at you. Sheesh.
Legit the only decently challenging boss and he's still dangerous asf even if you're fully maxxed in Millenium Tower.
Majima would like to have a word with you
@@hdgamerarchives1038 I disagree
I need the song that plays before you fight Tendo
Imagine tendo literally doing no damage to you and then does "god's right hand" and one-shots you..
20:46 Dragon and the koi are always clashing with each other
Tendo is weak to electric attacks so use Adachi's helicopter ability and/or Kasuga's orbital laser from the business management mini game
I know this is a late reply but we fight the real Tendo. Mirror Face just comes out of nowhere at the end.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
To be honest this boss was so easy his damage was so low only reason it took so long was his HUGE health pool
What about the one shot kill?

I play on normal first run lvl 99 on ichihan and han joon gi. I think it tickles at this point and only hurt if u pursue final millenium tower
What is background music before the final fight?
One of the most underrated Yakuza villains
This fight woulda been easier than Majima or Kiryu if he hadn’t brought out that fucking God hand move
Wanna know what’s worse? The first time I fought him, he used that move on FUCKING KASUGA!(Didn’t even have the time to prep before hand either, it was Joon Gi’s turn)
2nd time I beat his ass tho, he threw nothing but lefts and that one right on Saeko(the pain, oh the pain, would be a shame if he used it again on Adachi- he fucking used it on Adachi)
This is Ichiban's Shibusawa, now we see the rise of the Rock-Bottom Dragon.
Funny you mention that, I thought the same thing: th-cam.com/video/jmHywsD8I80/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2XhKhSyh-HrS-Hk3
I was overpowered for this fight the only move i was literally scared of was God's hand
this dude tanks kiryu, saejima, majima and 4 satellite lasers and it only get rids like 10% of his health
This fight would be even more epic with the old combat system~ it's fun to watch tho \o/
I think this fighting system made this fight in particular that much more intense. Motherfucker is fighting in the Dragon engine and we're stuck with the LAD Engine
Whats the name of the Ost that plays at 1:30
How on earth did you get all these moves like phantom shift, and also get rid of the bad moves like mega swing?
Isn't that forecast move joon gi using a fortune teller job move? How is he using that in hitman job then?
Some moves stays with you even you change your job
Everyone keeps talking about some kinda insta kill move but none of my party members died once. Is it something you only encounter on legend?
Dunno if you've replayed the game in the last year since this post, but can confirm, he absolutely uses it on normal, he just has no real pattern so if you're lucky he just won't use it, or if you're not he'll charge it and use it immediately before you can even try to set up countermeasures
I hate this boss fight because he have no pattern, so is more about luck than skillls, I saw a streamer that didn’t get that attack once
Words can't describe how this battle theme empowered me to take on the blue dragon. What a game!
Yosuke Tendo (Triplet After Triplet).
Awesome boss battle
Kind of curious how long it would have taken Kiryu to beat Tendo.
Probably the same as Ryuji, if ichiban can beat him, is easy to kiryu
12:18 Then don't let 'im hit you!...
gets hit immediately.
1 more boss left to reach the legend difficulty of the boss
Just pearless resolve in first, poison tengo, perfect guard, do the orbital laser when you can and heal your party with saeko
I agree with this comment, tendo is a gigachad
Idk about equal, but I'm convinced he would have been final boss tier for them at least
Wasn’t Kiryu beaten Kasuga crew easy and even knock his ass out while Tendo brought on his knees with bruises
tendo would be equal to ryuji or aizawa at best
Does anyone have a tip on how to not get one shot by gods warning it managed to one shot everyone it targeted and i had to redo this fight 7 times i gave up after it manged to kill my party members with ease after the 17th time
Damn ! Cant wait for Yakuza 3-6 to PC 😱😱

@@valdemarbrodersen3492 Honestly I can’t remember at all lol, and the games uninstalled rn. I was at a comfortable level id say and I know how to keep my healers in a good spot so I suppose it was that plus luck
@@Yogurtcups he's hard cause he's a long fight with the chance of straight up one hitting ichiban with one of his moves
I beat him 3rd try with my party being like 4-2 levels lower than him, I realized using a sacrifice stone was gonna save me from his chance of one shotting Ichiban
There's an item you can obtain in Sotenbori Arena that prevents instant KO skills.
I equipped it on Ichiban right away after getting it. This boss fight is noticeably less stressful if you do that ( *especially* if combined with Peerless Resolve).
Essence of Mayhem for the Last Move 🔥🔥🔥🔥
this fight highlighted for me all the flaws of jrpg mechanics, because i was just sitting and spamming skills and attacks for 15 minutes straight, while he was trying to instakill me. it was not engaging at all, just a fight between numbers
kid named peerless resolve
Idk what title is worse, Monken's Beeper or Triplet After Triplet.
When tendo get brass knuckles is so awesome man 😍😍
I hate how i got killed by god's right hand again and again
And force me to grind for peerless resolve in Hero job
But after I had it, he almost never use it, and use left arm instead🙂
There's something wrong with this fight. Everytime I get almost to the end of the fight he strikes a powerful blow and kills me with just 1 shot. And I'm at 25 levels above him at normal difficulty. I missed something or what ? lol. It starting to be very annoying repeat this session over and over.
