I won’t be buying the huge compact of highlighter that I can’t use except for on my eyes. I wish Chanel would come out with broader ranges. I feel like with many releases, their 2-4 products are just too limited.
It reminds me of the tweed cuivre quad. I love Chanel, but I hate to say I won’t be purchasing anything from this collection. Way too warm. I prefer the Dior releases.
This looks very pretty on you but am def rethinking my purchase of the Illuminizer (I think it will be going back) and will not be purchasing anything else. It all seems too warm for a pale, cool toned girl - a bit disappointing in the color choices for me. Thank you for the review.
I have the rose highlighter and eyeshadow palette. I’m considering going back for the nail polishes and eye gloss to on the brow bone or as a lip gloss. The dark red lipstick was a little too yellow in tone for me, so I got the Rouge Allure L’Extrait in 834 (Rose Turbulent), which leans between true red and very slightly cool red. The pencil in Cuivre Dore is perfect with the eye palette. I also like the Metal Terracotta Le Volume mascara from spring 2021 (I bought a couple of extras). In addition the Rouge Profond blush applied with a light hand works well with this look. All in all it’s a classic beautiful Chanel holiday look.
Phew 😮💨. So glad I am not attracted to a single thing in this collection. Not a fan of rust, copper, or orangey colors.
This is the second review I've seen of Chanel's Holiday Collection, and they're too orange for me. I also get a summer vibe from them, not Christmas at all.

Hi Erin! I already have the eyeshadow palette and the rose highlighter and I’m in love. They are so gorgeous on and I am now planning to pick up that red polish and copper topper and maybe that greenish one too since it looks unique. I think I will get that red lacquer shade too for lips. It’s all very autumnal to me but I don’t mind at all 💕💕
I'm totally obsessed with this look, it's so chic and beautiful ❤️ I think it'll be my 'going out' fall makeup this year❤️

The eyeshadows are stunning, this is a look with impact walking into a holiday party. Really makes your blue eyes pop. Anyone with medium to deep skin tones will look gorgeous in these shades. I picked up the amber top coat nail polish. Macy’s has it online plus the highlighters and the gloss compact. Nordstrom has the gold No. 5 body oil up, for those who missed it last summer.
Is the palette like a color lovechild of Tweed Fauve and Warm Memories??
So glad you did this review. I've been dying to see it. Like you, I do my own nails. Have you ever tried Seche Vite? I use that as topcoat and Seche Clear as the base. I get a full week out of my Chanel and Dior polishes using those. Thanks for the video!💚

Do you think that highlighter could work as a finishing powder for all over the face to give a slight golden hue? Just as a highlighter that jumbo compact may never get used. Wonder what the rationale for the size is.

Omg what an incredibly intense red is that lip color, 89!! Wow! And I do love the 88 as well! It’s such a pretty, soft color. I am only interested in those two and the nail polishes😍 not even considering the huge highlighters. The eyeshadow pallet really surprised me when you applied it on 🤨😅 not really a fan of the color story though. Thanks for another great video! 🥰

I'd rather have normal size compacts. I never reach pan, so such large compacts are wasted on me.
GORGEOUS! I’m buying almost everything. The darker highlighter reminded me of the Hermes highlighter from a couple of years ago, or am I wrong? Love your nail polish color.

The look is beautiful, but its too much of makeup, for my taste. Question is Rouge ombre lipstick has some gold in it? I like the color, but if has gold in it, then i would pass, because, i have the eye gloss , and i would use over the lipstick, to add some gold sparkle. Thank you and have a blessed day🙏🧡

This is a pass for me and a disappointment for a holiday collection. The shades in the quad are tricky to pull off. I can dupe them in my collection with tones that are more complementary. The highlighters are too dark for my light skin tone and the compact size excessive for a highlighter. The lipsticks and red nail polish are the standouts. Money saved for tweed blushes.
The eyeshadow , on, looks more like warm memories. Looks almost 'mauvy'. Is that just camera? Or me?

thank you so much for the collection review. i really love the eyeshadow palette aesthetic, however i thought the colors would be more peach and diffused. i do not like bright copper colors, so im going to probably pass :( i will see if nordstrom or ulta gets it in store and maybe in person swatches will feel different. the oversize highlighter is pretty, but im a person who wants to pan my makeup and theres no reason for me to ever buy an oversized highlighter that will go on such a small area of my face. so thats a pass too.

That super lune nail polish is gorgeous! I was hoping you would show us the new rouge L’extrait lip colors. I know you think they are not worth it, but I never have to reapply them, so one swipe and I’m done. A tube will last me a long time.

I snagged the eyeshadow palette because it was too pretty to pass up! I know the colors aren't unique but I love the autumn/fall vibes that it gives off on the eyes. Passed on the highlighter since the two colors are dark for me. Thank you for this thorough review!

I heard that research highlighter palettes are actually Luminizers, not highlighters. This was from a French creator's channel, Hey, it's Jacqueline. She always seems to review Chanel.

Is there any glitter in the highlighter?
Went to the store today, i only picked up the body oils, Claire de lune nail polish and 827 brun lunaire. The green nail polish was really unique and the lipstick was a perfect brown red for me. bright reds does not look good on me. I recommend you going to the store to try out the product before buying.
Swatches the eyeshadow and was to warm for me and was like orange gold tones. I tried the rose ombre lipstick but i felt like it needed to be more opaque. The red nail polish was like any other reds and the gold topper didnt wow me in person. The bottle looks nice and more opaque but it was like a clear gloss with small warm gold flakes. Tried the highlighters and felt like it was to dark and warm for me. I am a B20-B30.

I must admit I wasn’t impressed by the early promo pictures of the quad. I still wasn’t all that impressed when you swatched it. But, then you put it on your eyes-wow! I think I’ll have to take a look at it after all.
