Hi friends! Today I am reviewing the most exciting pieces from the Chanel 2022 Holiday Collection! I have the NEW Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palette in 937 Ombres de Lune, the Eclat Lunair Face Luminizers in Rose Or and Cuivre Dore, AND the Rouge Allure Laque in Rose Mystere. I’m getting it all. I think this and the Guerlain palette is all I’m getting for the holidays. I have a fair skin tone, I picked up the darker highlighter for EXACTLY what you recommended and I love it. It goes on top of blush immaculately and I use it on my eyes and brow bone too!

Hi Sofia, I love this eyeshadow quad! The colors are beautiful… yes! And the regular price instead of how $$$$ the Tweeds were.. I’ll be picking this one up. I love how you described the silkiness of the shadows.. which is why I don’t typically love Chanel shadows.

I like the Rouge Allure Laque, but I Love Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. It will stay on until you take it off with eye makeup remover, but it doesn't dry out your lips. And do use the glossy end. It locks the color on. Although the gloss wears off and leaves a more matte look. They need more colors though. Thanks for the eye palette comparisons. You hit all of my hot buttons. Very thorough review. Thanks!💚
Yes omg the Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue are SO good! Kind of a different look and takes an extra second to apply but they last so long. I have 3 colors but need more

I skipped out on Camelia highlighter last year because it was so light for me so I’m ecstatic that I can use both these highlighters. The problem is I don’t know which one to get. They’re both so pretty!

It's funny, I also hated Warm Memories...I never reach for it. And I passed on the "tweeds" all together! There was nothing unique about them to justify the increased cost. And while I do have some of the TF pallets, this one will be perfect for an upcoming trip over the holidays. Great review, thank you!!

I was really drawn to the luminizers but after you mentioned the size of it, it’s just way too big.I don’t get these companies coming out with these huge compacts, we don’t have our mothers collection, where they had a few cosmetics and that was it. These days, we tend to have larger makeup collections and it just makes no sense to get a compact that you will never go through. The lipstick color you chose I love, so will have to pick that one up, seems like a great fall color. You’re so fun, bright and beautiful, love watching your channel.

You NAILED the dupes! Those were reeeeally close. I don’t need anymore rosy neutrals, but I loved the laque shade on you! I also enjoy that formula. I keep a laque in like a dusty neutral pink in my car. I also have one that’s just this pearly sheen that I use more than I expected. I’ll probably get one (comically enormous) highlighter. I hate the giant component, and it’s not even special packaging. I think it’s weird I’m supposed to think it’s special because it’s huge, and I can’t store it with my other makeup. Ok, clearly still on the fence on the highlighters.

Question: Does the Rouge Allure Laque stain? How many hours (roughly) does it last? And does it transfer (to coffee cup, etc.) ? Thanks! I"m super interested in that formula.
Hello! Nope it doesn't stain. I do think it transfers a bit because it's not a formula that dries all the way down. If you aren't eating it will last a few hours but I'm always drinking coffee and stuff so I reapply it every hour or two
Do they leave a cast on the face, the highlighters? I am thinking of getting the rose gold one but I'm pretty pale and I'm afraid is going to leave a cast
yes they leave a cast because they are highlighters :) if you are very pale and afraid that this won't blend in then I would not recommend this collection because the luminizers are very warm and give off a lot of pigment
My skin tone is light to medium with pink undertones br032 or dior 302
I'm so curious how the two luminizers compared to the Chantecaille cheek and eye luminizer they released in the Summer (in neon packaging). I absolutely love the Chantecaille one and wore it all Summer. That is what the Chanel ones remind me of but I'd love to see swatch comparisons.

I like Chanel and I was waiting for your review but the quad is too dark for my taste. Suspicion is a better choice for me. I don’t use highlighter and lipstick. I have a mini Noir Allure mascara and I love it.
Dior quints are the winners this time. :) Still not available in Sydney. It’s probably the last place on earth when we talk about something new on the market.

Hi looks pretty but they don’t look different enough for me ! but lets see the demo i love chanel i do own a few which i love , you have a warmer skin tone than i do , i am very pale with silver hair so i think its not going to look good on me i tend to go for cool tones , i have charlottes quad ! its very beautiful ! perfect for me. i have natasha denona my dream palette too ! but not played with it yet !

I'm still slowly picking up all the Chanel Fall 2022 nude lipsticks and nail polishes and I've also purchased the Tweed quads. However, this collection is not appealing to me at all - I don't particularly like peachy-mauve shades nor does the embossing wow me. You asked us to comment - I think it looks like rancid makeup, the petri dish comparison made me laugh! A lot of us luxury makeup lovers expect special embossing for the holidays and I totally get that. Some environmentally aware channels I follow though have pointed out that creating 'special' or different packaging is actually more wasteful than sticking to a preexisting mould which I found interesting.

Don't hate me but I rarely curl them! They always have had a slight natural curl 🤷♀️ In fact I have to wear tubing mascaras because everything else rubs off on my upper brow bone 😅
You're correct, too much product. Nice colors, but I'd prefer to buy a smaller amount at a lesser price. I did buy the camelia, as well as make up for ever's gold and rose gold, and I'm happy with all 3. I'm set with highlighter/luminizer for a quite some time.

Never tried Chanel eyeshadows and this is so appealing. Just picked up TF Suspicion last month so not sure if I need this. I do prefer Dior's satin formula over TF wet/dry.

I was so disappointed after seeing the pictures of Chanel's Holiday Quad. It looked as if it was going to be deeper in colour with brown, copper and golds. From other reviews I've seen, it comes across much lighter and even a little peachy. I'm sure most of use would have these shades anyway, I do, many times over. I bought last year's No.5 Quad and it didn't disintegrate like your current palette. The embossing is still clearing seen despite being used. I do love the Rose Luminiser yet dreading to see how much these will sell for in Australia! There is a distinct difference between a Highlighter and a Luminiser. The latter is softer and can be used all over the face for a soft glow to the skin. Many get confused over these names. That's why the pans are so oversized, to be used with large brushes for use all over the face and body. Love your lipstick too, although I have dry lips and yet to try a liquid lipstick. One day I'll take the plunge. I can't believe you passed on the Mediterranean Quad!!! It's wonderful and so different to anything else, especially when wet. Your right though, it's nothing like the Holiday Quad. Thanks for your rundown and comparisons and I greatly appreciate that you film in natural light.🇦🇺💖🕊

Aside from the pink highlighter this collection is an easy pass for me…. And I LOVE Chanel but I’m not inspired here. The highlighters though I think are stunning and I’m so happy to see a deeper range there!! Glad this holiday drop is saving me a few coins 🪙 😂. Excellent review as always and super helpful in demonstrating whether we need this or not 🖤
