For the liquid eyeshadow in Milky Way, you can put the eyeshadows from the palette on top of the Milky Way and it becomes glittery. It's so gorgeous! My Chanel associate showed me today.
I like Chanel's latest makeup styles. They are different and that's why I go for prestige and luxury makeup vs drugstore l,because its different and they do seasonal releases
I thought this was a special Harrods Chanel Christmas release. I was relieved as i don't care for it and thought we'd be getting a regular Chanel Holiday collection. Sad, but best for my budget, I suppose. Thanks for the review, Jen.

Wow! I had written this collection off as something way to colorful for me. However, it looks absolutely gorgeous the way you (and the Chanel artist) applied it! And while I'm not sure if the colors are for me, I now think they would look phenomenal on my mom (she loves purple and looks great in fushia). She is 72, and I actually think the larger palette will be easier for her to handle and navigate than the regular palettes. So, now I know what to get her for a Christmas stocking stuffer. Thank you so much for this video!
@@Allfeisty She has quite a bit of arthritis in her hands now and I've noticed that she doesn't like a lot of small things to open. However, she has been horrified at recent vacation photos and says she needs more life and color in her face. I didn't love these large palettes when they came out a couple years ago, but now I think they might be a good option for older ladies. I like that she can add a little color to her cheeks and eyes in one palette that is easy on her hands. And the big mirror will be a huge help when she travels. We are going to give it a shot this Christmas.

I have fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair and I would never had bought this eyeshadow pallete....but it's so beautiful I purchased from my boutique. Also got the nail polish in the fuschia shade 191. Also bought the N 5 Fragrance on the chain....cannot wait. Thanks for being so honest as always. 💕💕
I do appreciate the review but this Holiday collection is a hard pass for me. I don’t like the colour story, the glitter and the oversized palettes. Also I don’t like bold colours for lips. 😁 Thanks for sharing!🙂

New subscriber! I love your review and demo. Nothing is up on the U.S. site yet, but I’m hoping for the face/eye palette for starters. Somewhere in storage I have the original original typed label test of Vamp which was made for the U.S. runway. (The French runway used black marker with red polish over) It wasn’t meant to have been produced but the models and the public raved over it so it was first made for the U.S. market, then went international the following year. It started the dark nail trend breaking away from the French manicure which had been the tradition up until then. Cheers!
Jennifer this is one of your best looks ever. Yes the Chanel make-up artist but especially you who decided to go out of your comfort zone, did you a big favour. Of course you look good in the warm tones, but don't undestimated such colours. You look as a different lady, full of light. It suits you, 360 degrees change. Maybe you are a autumn-muted summer because those shades should not suit you at all, but actually I do prefer those vibrancy on you. Your beauty is enhanced. I have seen the Initiation palette, because of my interest, but if I do compare that beautiful palette, 392 Initiation, which does enhance your blue eyes, in comparison with these colours, there is just no competition. Loved this review, you had my full attention beginning to end. I’ve ordered most items, can’t wait to try it all. I won’t be using the highlighter on my face (have some texture) and instead as an eyeshadow topper, although it’ll take me several decades to work through this 😂 The pink nail polish in the collection also looks special. The palette reminds me of a giant size of the coral treasures eye quad from earlier this year, except this has the white glitter shade instead of a brown.
I saw a promo shot for a fuchsia metallic nail color to go with this collection. That would interest me. I have had chips on the first day with their creams since they reformulated. But the metallics still can last for days. So I'm sticking with those. I'm still wearing my old Chanel Vamp and Dior 1947 for that reason. This isn't a collection for me, but thanks for the video. You definitely made it all work.💚
Hmm.. the swatches of the highlighter had me thinking it could be similar to the RÊVE DE CAMÉLIA from a couple years ago (which made me want to buy two).. but your review has me thinking this is not the case at all. Thoughts? Thank you for this speedy review.. as someone over 40, I saw this collection and couldn't imagine it being flattering at all on my fair skin.. now: decisions, decisions! ha ha
Fun review! I will try to pick up a couple of the lipsticks. I would probably not use the face palatte more than once. I do think I would use the blush colors but it is a huge size for the silver and the purple. Really, just not realistic for the consumer. It is fun to watch others try to make it work though. I hope Chanel comes out with a large bottle of the No 5 Parfum. I will definitely purchase that and possibly the body oil. Everything else is a pass. It looks like you have a lot of fun trying on all the different releases.

Chanel holiday has not infected me so far.. only that highlighter caught my eye a tiny bit. Since it is glittery, it reminds me a lot of MACs holiday sparkle of last year which i got. Thank You for clearing that up!

I adore the weird sh1t that Chanel puts out: black glittery liquid? 🌚 mmmm...gold eye gloss, 🌞 sign me up...I want that green liquid shadow, but I don't want to spend $195 for the other stuff. I just want that green liquid all over my face! 🍈🍈 I just bought the spring coral palette, I am a late decider on it, and felt like the orange/pink with softer satin finish is unique. I bought the neon orange Stylo Ombre from Selfridges, obsessed. But this holiday palette is not different enough from what I just got, or I'd get it.

Ohhh… a soft pink would look good in me maybe - I don’t like a gold and definitely not gold glitter - I think gold looks like shading on paler/cool-neutral skin and not highlighting - though some golds are softer and cooler - so hard to see it online
The "problem" with the Sublimage line, it is that the main ingredient is magnesium which does wonders on the skin. Brightens, more compact texture, all benefits. It works. But I like and do appreciate how Jennnifer states that the price of any Sublimage product is just too steep. Is it really necessary? Chanel would sell it anyway in tons for a more decent price. Highlighters for holiday are extremely expensive. I like the shade from another House, the formula mostly, the colour is available only for holiday season and the price is 5 $ more expensive than the Diamond Dust. I will be paying for the packaging which is the last thing that interest me... Will consider. I would like one or two Hermès eye pencils, the budjet is becoming out of control. I will get instead the prune eyeliner and the enchanted eye-face palette and if available the contour pencil. Your application of this palette is by far the best I have seen.
I love that you mentioned the colour vamp. I remember that colour vividly from that time. Do you remember the lipstick as well? That was such a great color? Do you think the holiday one comes close? Hard to tell online

I almost bought this collection yesterday from Harrod’s, but then paused since I know it will come to US retailers soon enough. I have 30 GBP worth of points at Harrod’s, but you can only redeem them for shipments delivered to a UK address 😢. Guess I’ll have to fly to London to cash in 😅. Excited for your review.
so early for holiday releases I wish cosmetic brands would wait a little bit I hope they won't be releasing spring collections in thr middle of December. I hear a lot people complaining about price of chanel rouge allure l'extrait and I don't get it, this luxurious formula cost in Australia $81 AUS/2.5 G, TOM FORD IS $88 AUD/3G so not even $3 AUD more than Tom Ford. Chanel is refillable and refill cost $59 AUD. Dior holiday highlighter is $107 and Chanel is $95 and both glittery but I don't hear people complaining about glitter in Dior. I feel that people let Dior and Tom Ford get away with lots of things but Chanel gets slammed for everything. Thic collection looks beautiful on you but I personally prefer last year collection and I really don't like anything oversized. I think that should stop. I remember OG Vamp! Now it’s rouge something, and just not the same tone at all. I tried to use revlon toast of new York, it’s contemporary! And it’s also changed, it’s more burgundy than toasty brown. I think the Fushia lip is similar to the tenue in milky blueberry, which has no glitter

I'm so excited about this collection and I think everything looks so pretty on you. 🥰 I placed an order with Harrods but skipped a few things I'm still second-guessing. Do the liquid eyeliners have a brush or felt tip - and are they pens or can you potentially dip your own brush into the product? Also...was the pink nail polish available in-store? This is a wonderful review and very informative but this is an easy pass for except for possibly the liquid liner. I'm not a fan of glitter, bright lip colors, or warm colors - I prefer neutrals, pastels, or cool tones. I love their new cream to powder blushes and I did purchase one. I also bought their new green/purple eyeshadow palette. I just know I won't use this palette. I'm on the fence about the magenta lipstick - I like it much better after it wears off.
I'm wondering whether or not the palette is going to develop hard pan, which happened with the previous face palettes. Also, the Chrystal Pink Lip on Harrod's says, "95 Spell." I don't know that it is that same color as what you are wearing!
Hi dear Jennifer, wow, with your red hair, your blue eyes, they were right, you CAN handle these colours and they look stunning on you!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Would i purchase this quad/face palette, i do not think so. Purple looks great on my hazel/khaki eyes, silver not always, the sort of soft orange i would have loved for on my cheeks but wow this is shiny, and the pink is a blush and not an eyeshadow for me, and i have enough pink blush. Highlighter palette way too much THERE, i only can appreciate more subtle products. But Chanel is getting more inclusive, i see Pat McGrath type of comments, and i was thinking of my dear friend Chelsea from glamgirlchelsea, these colours would also look fabulous on her!!! Liquid liners i do not use, and for lips i only use gloss or balm. Maybe when i see it on people close to my skintone, maybe, maybe, but i do not think so. And why is this palette sooooo big, i mean, Jennifer, when sharing this with 4 other people, it would make sense, but i cannot, sensitive skin here. I love to share, but cannot share makeup with other people. So, for the planet, and for the money they could have made this quad/face palette a little bit smaller, is my humble opinion. I was so excited to see your review!!! I like the lipsticks :) Not sure about the rest. I am not a fan of oversized makeup I have a hard time finishing the regular sizes haha the eyeshadow palette is not something I will wear for the Holidays I want the more traditional colors. The orange and pink/purple make me think of Dunkin Donuts Logo!
The entire collection - I see myself ordering asap because of FOMO, eventually returning it. Colors are bit out there, very theatrical collection, if they were normal sized - both eye and highlighter, they would be ok. Right now, these sizes bother me
There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets luxrul designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.
I LOVE glitter but that highlighter is huge NO👀no one needs glitter flecks to fly all over the place... I'm fair w green eyes and dark hair so the colours are pretty good for me. I love fuchsia too. But really not an easy collection for most people and definitely not screaming holiday to me. Especially if you use multiple colours together

I don't like this rush marketing strategy, I am curious when and if will it be available again. Yesterday was all available. Well it is only make-up in the end.

Thank you for the review. I saw on IG, that the highlighter has a gold overspray and underneath it shows a soft pink? I’m wondering if the glitter goes all the way through or is it confined mostly to the gold overlay?
Ohhh… a soft pink would look good in me maybe - I don’t like a gold and definitely not gold glitter - I think gold looks like shading on paler/cool-neutral skin and not highlighting - though some golds are softer and cooler - so hard to see it online
The "problem" with the Sublimage line, it is that the main ingredient is magnesium which does wonders on the skin. Brightens, more compact texture, all benefits.
It works.
But I like and do appreciate how Jennnifer states that the price of any Sublimage product is just too steep.
Is it really necessary?
Chanel would sell it anyway in tons for a more decent price.
Highlighters for holiday are extremely expensive.
I like the shade from another House, the formula mostly, the colour is available only for holiday season and the price is 5 $ more expensive than the Diamond Dust.
I will be paying for the packaging which is the last thing that interest me...
Will consider.
I would like one or two Hermès eye pencils, the budjet is becoming out of control.
I will get instead the prune eyeliner and the enchanted eye-face palette and if available the contour pencil.
Your application of this palette is by far the best I have seen.

I almost bought this collection yesterday from Harrod’s, but then paused since I know it will come to US retailers soon enough. I have 30 GBP worth of points at Harrod’s, but you can only redeem them for shipments delivered to a UK address 😢. Guess I’ll have to fly to London to cash in 😅. Excited for your review.

so early for holiday releases I wish cosmetic brands would wait a little bit I hope they won't be releasing spring collections in thr middle of December. I hear a lot people complaining about price of chanel rouge allure l'extrait and I don't get it, this luxurious formula cost in Australia $81 AUS/2.5 G, TOM FORD IS $88 AUD/3G so not even $3 AUD more than Tom Ford. Chanel is refillable and refill cost $59 AUD. Dior holiday highlighter is $107 and Chanel is $95 and both glittery but I don't hear people complaining about glitter in Dior. I feel that people let Dior and Tom Ford get away with lots of things but Chanel gets slammed for everything. Thic collection looks beautiful on you but I personally prefer last year collection and I really don't like anything oversized. I think that should stop. I remember OG Vamp! Now it’s rouge something, and just not the same tone at all. I tried to use revlon toast of new York, it’s contemporary! And it’s also changed, it’s more burgundy than toasty brown. I think the Fushia lip is similar to the tenue in milky blueberry, which has no glitter

I'm so excited about this collection and I think everything looks so pretty on you. 🥰 I placed an order with Harrods but skipped a few things I'm still second-guessing. Do the liquid eyeliners have a brush or felt tip - and are they pens or can you potentially dip your own brush into the product? Also...was the pink nail polish available in-store? I was sad not to see it on the Harrods site so I was curious! Thank you so much! ☺

This is a wonderful review and very informative but this is an easy pass for except for possibly the liquid liner. I'm not a fan of glitter, bright lip colors, or warm colors - I prefer neutrals, pastels, or cool tones. I love their new cream to powder blushes and I did purchase one. I also bought their new green/purple eyeshadow palette. I just know I won't use this palette. I'm on the fence about the magenta lipstick - I like it much better after it wears off.
I'm wondering whether or not the palette is going to develop hard pan, which happened with the previous face palettes. Also, the Chrystal Pink Lip on Harrod's says, "95 Spell." I don't know that it is that same color as what you are wearing!
No, Spell is the red one. And I will certainly let you know about the hard pan.
Hi dear Jennifer, wow, with your red hair, your blue eyes, they were right, you CAN handle these colours and they look stunning on you!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Would i purchase this quad/face palette, i do not think so. Purple looks great on my hazel/khaki eyes, silver not always, the sort of soft orange i would have loved for on my cheeks but wow this is shiny, and the pink is a blush and not an eyeshadow for me, and i have enough pink blush. Highlighter palette way too much THERE, i only can appreciate more subtle products. But Chanel is getting more inclusive, i see Pat McGrath type of comments, and i was thinking of my dear friend Chelsea from glamgirlchelsea, these colours would also look fabulous on her!!! Liquid liners i do not use, and for lips i only use gloss or balm. Maybe when i see it on people close to my skintone, maybe, maybe, but i do not think so. And why is this palette sooooo big, i mean, Jennifer, when sharing this with 4 other people, it would make sense, but i cannot, sensitive skin here. I love to share, but cannot share makeup with other people. So, for the planet, and for the money they could have made this quad/face palette a little bit smaller, is my humble opinion. I am not a fan of oversized makeup I have a hard time finishing the regular sizes haha the eyeshadow palette is not something I will wear for the Holidays I want the more traditional colors. The orange and pink/purple make me think of Dunkin Donuts Logo!

These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets luxrul designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.

I LOVE glitter but that highlighter is huge NO👀no one needs glitter flecks to fly all over the place... I'm fair w green eyes and dark hair so the colours are pretty good for me. I love fuchsia too. But really not an easy collection for most people and definitely not screaming holiday to me. Especially if you use multiple colours together
