Thanks for watching! Do you mean franchises in the insurance space? Yes there are, just not sure of the value of paying a franchise fee to be locked in to a single carrier tbh. There are quite a few ex-insurance agents in most of the industries mentioned in the video.
I'm a Canadian looking to buy into an American franchise, and move to the US. Should I get an American or Canadian lawyer to look over the agreement? Also, should the lawyer be in the state that I want to set up shop, or does it not matter?
First you should call Franchise City! A broker will help you not only with your legal questions and finding the right lawyer, but also help you find the best franchise for your situation. www.franchise.city/our-services In answer to your question, a US lawyer is best to use as they are familiar with US franchise law. Technically you can use a lawyer from any state, but certain states have supplemental franchise laws that a lawyer in the state is more likely to be familiar with. So all things considered, a reputable franchise lawyer in the state will be your best option, but technically any good US based franchise lawyer can handle the review. Thanks for the question!
What do you think of franchising a Quik Stop Convenience Store/Gas Station in the Northern California area? As opposed to a 7 Eleven or Liquor store? Is it a worthy business to get into and make a decent living?
Depends on your goals, market demand, operational preferences and a number of factors. Overall, gas stations are in a declining industry. Many indy stations are not making much money. Comparatively they are at the lower end of sales to investment ratio so wouldn't be my first choice! th-cam.com/video/ECb8EK7Xwc0/w-d-xo.html An old but relevant vid on Gas Station industry. Thanks for the question!
Would need to know more about your skills, goals, market demographics, exit strategy etc. before making any recommendations. Bimbo did close over 500 locations 2018/2019 so that is a bit of a red flag. It's always free to work with a franchise coach and we have all the research tools you need - just call us! www.franchise.city/our-services . Thanks for the question.

What about Investors who have no Interest in Operating these businesses, who are looking to buy up those owners whom just want to retire and get out? any sites?
Yes, there are passive franchises with zero owner involvement, and also resales. Very few of them are "sales based" however, most passive options are retail. The problem is knowing which businesses will allow for 100% passive investment before you waste a lot of time contacting them. (very few do) Franchise City brokers can create a list of suitable franchises for you: www.franchise.city/our-services or if you just want to browse BIzbuysell is the largest portal. Thanks for watching!
I’m interested in buying a bimbo bakery distributor route I would like to know if you have any experience with these types of businesses
