I used to work for a company that makes industrial ceramics. We routinely used 6k psi. I once put a cigarette into the finger of a rubber glove. Sealed and pressurized it. It came out about 1/3 to 1/4 the normal size and was as hard, or harder, than wood.
Damn you....the crunching noise forced me to pause the video and get my chips so i could crunch along with the video. Sour cream and onion baby! (Awesome vid dude, love this channel.)
For M&M's I would expect that the hard candy shell would be more resistant to crushing. It will crack, and the M&M's will get crushed, but at a higher pressure than the chips. It might make enough of a sharp edge to have the bag (or fun pack) fail, and fill with water. Let's try it out!
Hey, the Pringles can went the same way as Titan. They really missed an opportunity, not making a Stockton Rush commemorative carbon fiber Pringles can.
Given the high cost of the subject :P I would love to see a comparison of the them at various depths ,10m, 50m, 100m, 250m etc. possibly with a a vacuum bag after you determine the water ingress depth. See what the effect on the crisp size is at the various depths.
Nice video, maybe you should make more videos testing the resistance of watches, with brands like Casio, Seiko, Timex, etc. You could also try different smartwatches. I think this would help your channel a lot, I wish you the best of luck.
I dont know why but I find it really cool it was able to make the chip basically a powder without popping the bag. I'd be curious to see what happens to a chicken tendie.
That's a great idea. Maybe we can do vintage vs modern and perhaps the ones issued on aircraft since they're probably a few of those sunken at the bottom.
Try sending vacuum-sealed meat (beef, chicken, fish, etc...) into the abyss and doing a taste comparison with the non-compressed variants. You could also see if cooking the meat before or after compression changes anything.
Thanks for the suggestion. The MDV106 and 107 are basically the same construction. I think I'll do an episode on the Casio Duro MDV106 vs the Citizen Promaster Diver if I can get a good deal.
Gah! Why am I sitting around waiting for these slow chemical reactions!! I should just put it all under high pressure (Have them put that on my tombstone)
Asmr trigger warning? The fck is that? Trying to get ASMR addicted individuals to click? Trying to warn individuals that they may enjoy it? And may trigger their ASMR ptsd? What a pathetic headline and a pathetic Society.

The real question here is, did you smoke it?
Do you guys want me to recreate that experiment and get a smoker to give it a puff? lol
@@TheDropzoneChannel oh, yes please hahaha that would be amazing
@@TheDropzoneChannelyesssss
@@TheDropzoneChannelyes sir please
Bro I love your humor and education style. Keep it up you rock!
Those Pringles were absolutely revolting
Then he put them through the drop zone!
An implosion of flavor in every bite!

Perfect technique on those lines.

That's a seiours bump at the end. 🤣🤣🤣
8:10 Those are nacho lines !
I totally didn't expect that from this channel, I love it
Those Doritos crumbs would be prefect for a chicken nugget. (Hungry right now)
Inorite? Dredge some chicken breasts through that and bake them, it'll be glorious.
Omg gluten free spicy chicken nuggets you’re a frickin GENIUS!!
"Micro chips" :)
Nacho usual content.

Love your style.
Like inverted vacuum packing

I did the opposite of this with "Taco Explosion" flavor chips and high altitude & it's received 394 views in 9 years 🤣

so if a sub went boom at that depth the only thing to have survived would be a bag of taco chips 😂 😂
They must do this to all of the tortillas in the UK. They are closer to dust than triangles over here.
now I really wonder why micro chips are so damn expensive compared to regular chips.
I would love to see MREs get under pressure to see how they could hold up in extreme conditions.
Bonus points if a taste test is done afterwards :D

I believe the hydraulic press channel did that already. Though likely not to abyss level.
It's really interesting watching the cardboard saturate. This was a good video. Would love to see a gopro in there.
Thanks. I'm surprised it took that much pressure to saturate it. You can check out episode 14 near the end where I crush a GoPro.
D o r i t o e s
6:28 Looks like fried chicken to me! Yummmm... 🍗
Reduction by a factor of 1000 at best... only millichips, I think.
When you decide you need a new high pressure chamber, you can try nail gun blanks :) Implosion could potentially set it off
dude you gotta do Casio Duro mdv 106 / mdv 107 and mdv 10 also if u can mdv106 filled with oil

Nice coating for a shake and bake chicken.
In test one, was it water passing through a semi permeable membrane, or were the "nano chips" bound by the residual cooking oil?
Even just moisture in the chips.
Not like they're completely desiccated when packaged.
Здравствуйте, что за модель часов у Вас на руке? Заранее благодарю Вас
Xonix спортивные часы. Это мои часы-биттер.
👍🐿😎
Do the one chip challenge!!!!!
LOL how did they get "Piment Infernal!" from "Sweet Chili Heat"?
Never had Zesty Mordant chips ?
Implo-SION!
Sodium!
Ok, surprised the bag didn't tear & the bag pretty much reinflated.
5:43 you mention it!
crunchy but no bang
How about a jars of air.
Ты остроумный!
I guess chips come with monosodium glutamate planetwide. Yuck.
I did not subscribe to this channel. Weird
Just the fact that a rabbit can write is impressive
