But did you go to the actual Tulum archeological site??? That is probably the most gorgeous place I have ever visited. I stayed in a small town called Akumal north of Tulum.

I finally got to see the wedding
I used to go to Cancún and Tulum all the time and for whatever reason during certain times of the year almost all of the beaches are covered in seaweed 🙁it doesn’t normally look like that

Expat here...It is typical for us in Latin America. Mostly septic systems. The toilet paper here has some odor perfume built in. Plus in Latin America everyone cleans ALOT......so the cleaning ladies will change it every day for them if that's included.......you get use to it :)
