Girl same!!!! I started my own business a few months ago even though i had a relaxed work from home job. I FELT it my spirit a lay off was gonna happen so I would spend 8 hours on my own stuff just like i did 8 hours at work! I kid u not one night i randomly start watching a bunch of videos of people getting fired from their wfh job. The next day I get the call. My co workers who i told months ago to start working on an exit plan did not listen. They are scared crying devastated while I felt. . . Relieved. I also vowed to never work a 9 to 5 again! Last week was my first week starting my business. I made $400 dollars and got 30 clients. My first thought was im a failure bc in order not to go back to work i have to make 750 a week. But i had to slap myself bc I made 400 BARELY working! And not leaving my house not wasting gas not being bossed around etc.
Yay congratulations! Keep it up, I love hearing that 💕 I felt the same way this last layoff, like I just knew it was coming. I’m so glad I started my side hustle a couple of weeks before it actually happened because the transition has been smooth. So glad we listened to our guts.
