jareza .. not uncommon for chihuahuas to lose hearing or vision, kinda like cocker spaniels. Some r unaffected but certain breeds just have higher chances of crappy health issues happening to them. Chihuahuas r tough little cookies tho.
A is for Annihilation actually chihuahuas are the healthiest dog, they have less health issues, live longer, but some of them have bad temperament. The one with most health issues to me are Labrador: cancer, sensitive stomach, insatiable hunger, hip issues, but are the most loving dogs there is.
I grew up with 3 dogs. My apt. building doesn't allow pets. I love seeing Bailey--but, seeing Daisy and EL was a triple treat. James, you must truly have a loving heart for your pets. The video was great!

It's just a renamed Bissell carpet spot cleaner. Seems way more cumbersome and less effective than a garden hose.
Nutz4Gunz45 I have the spot cleaner and it works great. This doesn't look like it does an effective job.
He did comment on that toward the end of the review. You can also buy the BarkBath hose end to attach to your spot cleaner.
You wash your dog with a cold garden hose?
I was thinking the exact same thing and your comment was the first I saw.
Melissa Nunya because being continuously drenched in cold water for 20 mins is not comfortable? Especially if you're wearing clothes, so having fur will be similarly uncomfortable. Most dogs don't mind running through a sprinkler or a hose for a bit on a warm day though.

I think Daisy is the more of the intended target for dog washing. While it's not the best option, if you had a big dog who was older and had mobility issues it could be the best option.
Awwh your dogs are lovely. I can't help but have a soft spot for your elderly dog Daisy. I've recently lost my 15 year old dog . I don't think she would have been too keen the noise of the machine . I used to have to get in the shower with her !

Couldnt agree more, i never watch tv commercials, i dont live in america and we dont have even a fraction of the devices he show, we might have similar stuff but never the same things really.. But still i really enjoy the content, its just relaxing and like you say oddly satisfying.

A garden hose and some baby shampoo a few towels and I’m good to go! My dog would freak out with the noise! In the winter we just plop her in tub. This is just one more thing I would have store some where. I see these used a lot at first but then slowly never used. Around here we have car washes that have dog washing stations. Never used one but they look pretty neat.

Seems far too expensive at $150 for a device that is mediocre. I think its just better to start your dog young to embrace bathtime and wash them in the tub or outside.

It's probably easier to shower and dry her. I would worry soap residue which cued my dog to have skin problem. BESIDE lots of dog scares vacuum so
Being an animal lover, this was right up my alley. I'm always in search of products to help me take care of my furbaby because I have arthritis and can't bend, stoop, or kneel. I love how you didn't force your dogs to tolerate the machine if they were afraid or hyper or whatever the situation, just so you could demonstrate and review the product. I've been looking for reviews on the Woof Washer 360 but the videos I saw were actually advertisements. I think it might be decent for big dogs with long or thick fur. Always love seeing Bailey and now I'm even more in love with Daisy and Elle (?sp) with their sweet faces.
Well done as usual. That looked so soothing and your fur kids seem to love it. All three are adorable and that Bailey is a real trooper for sure lol. I have the little green machine and love using it. I don’t have pets any longer but would definitely use that if I had.

As I look at this video and watch this product in use, all I can think of is how this is only cleaning the surface of the dog and not reaching the deep coats of the long hairs of the dogs. This doesn't even compare to a true dog bath where you get everything wet and soaked. And as my roommate says, if you're not fighting the dog in the bathtub, it's not truly a bath. lol
That sounds like either you have a bad dog or you guys suck at dog bathing... Your pet shouldn't be fighting with you to get out of there

I have this natural green sea kelp ‘de-magnetizing’ antiseptic wash that is safe to use for backcountry camping, brushing your teeth, cleaning vegetables plus 1000 other uses... I run it through the machine. I have a cow dog in Texas and the nearest groomer is a very long distance. I’d also run the brush in more than one direction to really get the dog clean. I think it requires a lot more muscle to do the job.
Seems easier just to go to the groomer lol. Great video as always, and it is ALWAYS a pleasure to see beautiful furkids!

I have a bissel carpet cleaner machine . it comes with the same attachment hose that your machine has . It’s funny I think they just use the same hose and put a different motor on it lol .
The hose has the same function too, the button sucks the water up . And it sprays out water .

I have a long-haired and short haired dog. I love that you were able to show both short and long hair. I will be purchasing this for sure.

I have a Newfoundland and I'm glad you did this review. I'm positive it wouldn't work on him with his fur being so thick and the fact he takes 1 1/2 to blow dry

Thank you for the review. I purchased the BarkBath a few years ago and thought it would be a great solution. I, too, found that it did a mediocre job at cleaning the torso only of my two dogs. I did buy some additional attachments from Bissell so I can use it as a portable carpet cleaner instead (aka Little Green Machine). At least I didn't completely waste my money. :)

My sister gave this to me I forgot I had it years later I have a stalky 45lb English bulldog which seems to be a perfect candidate for this honestly with her type of fur.
She does not mind the sound she doesn’t care about the sound but she’s going deaf blind and narcoleptic.. she’s just not easily excited just loves pets.
She LOVED this. She was like purring.
I have to say her stinky smell was GONE. She’s impossible in the bath she likes to play with the water.. same thing with puddles… so honestly this is absolutely the perfect thing for me!
Another great review, James. I love all your doggies, they are so cute. Personally, the pitch of that Shark Ionflex, was like fingernails on a blackboard to me! I don't remember it being such a high pitch in your review, I'll have to go back and watch it again.

Looks like an expensive time waster. I can give the dog a bath in the bathtub and be done in 10 minutes with no dog water jugs to empty, no loud machine, and probably do a better job.
Ya, a detachable shower head sprayer works wonders and doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner. My Bailee pup is not a fan of noisy machines

Yeah but for older dogs who don’t get in the tub as easily or don’t like to go to unknown places something like this could be great. I think it’s one of those better than nothing options.

I had one of these but mine was called the Bissell Little Green machine. It still work the same way. Scaring the crap out of my dog and cat. So good work rebranding Bissell.

I checked and Bissell does sell the hose attachments if you own another of their cannister vac models, but at $69.99, it is almost as pricey as the 1st gen model at 89.99 and you would get the grooming bundle. Thanks for doing these reviews! My dogs are afraid of the vacuum except the one who is easiest to groom.

Nice. I have the QT model and it is quite different (not just the loudness) in design. It does pretty much the same thing but based on the way Bailey looked, I think the QT removes more water. The QT model also comes with a range of attachments for different coats and they snap on -- no tools. And yes, it's quieter -- quite a lot from the sound on the video. And it spot cleans carpets!

We have a 65 pound Aussie and since we live very rurally, and we have cold winters, we needed a solution to the problem of bathing our dog during the winter. The BarkBath is definitely a decent option. But like you said, it’s not made for legs, tails and faces, so it’s definitely limited. Still, it’s much better than trying to bath our dog in a tub. He gets freaked out by the tub, and he scratches it with his nails.

Great video and review. i'm a dog lover so can relate to wet dogs and hair. Currently I have one short haired medium sized dog, Lola, so doubt I'd get my money out of the BarkBath. I just call Lola into the shower before my shower and she gets her shower first, then me. Of course I do this just before I wash my bathroom down after she shakes. If she had long hair don't think the drain could handle the hair. Thanks for review and I'll watch for your next one.
Even after watching this I'm still unsure about buying it. I can bathe my smaller dog (pictured at left...hey buddy!) but my Jax is 154 pounds of sweetness and anxiety. The boy weighs more than I do so grooming him isn't always easy. He absolutely LOVES to be vacuumed but I don't know how he'll feel about the water. This review is seriously helpful and I LOVE the dogs!!

This is great for people with disabilities who struggle to bathe their dogs traditionally. Great design idea! Will definitely purchase. Thank you for your review. Very helpful.
I'm sure you could use it with other dog shampoo including flea shampoo if you dilute it 10 to 1. Just make sure the consistency of the liquid is the same as the dog shampoo it comes with.

i got the barkbath qt. it is really quiet. i followed their instructions to get the dog used to it by leaving it set out and sort of brushing the dog with the washing thing with it turned off (left out the treat part). when i turned it on my dog barked and bit it until i started washing him. I took the extra piece off the make the jet things longer. i think next time i'll make them shorter. corgi's have an undercoat, but not super thick. I did brush him out well before washing which should be done regardless of how a pet is bathed. i use the bissell dog brush attachment on my vacuum, that's always fun. best part about vacuum combing is it gets the dandruff too.
washing with a hose he wants to drink the water and run around, followed by rolling around and getting dirty again. washing in the bathtub gets too much hair down the drain even with a screen. the sound from the running water stresses him out when it comes time to rinse, then there's water every where when he jumps out. using a blow dryer is out to dry him.
I love these dogs so much.

I am so glad you reviewed this! I seen this product at my local Meijer department store and thought about getting it. After watching this I'm not getting it. That little bit of water isn't going to rinse the grit and grim. And no way in hell am I going to put a "Dog shampoo" that is made by a company that makes carpet cleaners on my Luna.
This will be great for my German Shepherd, he shed's a lot of hair, we have to vacuum almost every 2nd day and he's always playing outside getting all muddy so we have to bath him inside but the bathroom looks like a hurricane went through there so this will be a big help 😊😊

Daisy is the epitome of mellow. She's beautiful. Watching this three years after it was posted - in all the videos I've watched, I've only seen Elle twice!
My dog is so OC about her toys too. Sat for an hour one time by where her toy was stuck & couldn't reach. Finally figured out why she wasn't moving, etc... There so funny

Just started watching & I see this requires Bissel no rinse dog shampoo. So, my dog has medicated shampoo that need to use from time to time, would that not work? Also, I like the oatmeal aloe Vera natural dog shampoo on the market, can't use that either? Bummer.

I can't help but notice that my old golden is just as obsessed with having a ball in his mouth as Bailey is. However, he freaks out around the vacuum & wants to be as far away as he can be when I am using it.
This product is pretty much what I expected. I think I'd do better in the tub with his belly, too. Oh well.
I guess I'm fortunate that none of my dogs seem to care about the vacuum. I know that's a big problem for some dog owners.

Hahaha Awww Daisy and Bailey are too freaking cute. The cuteness level is on overload and I can't handle just how cute they really are. Also, I have a pitbull and shes the sweetest, most well behaved, well mannered dog you will ever have the pleasure of meeting and because she is a pitbull, people assume that she's dangerous and it kills me cuz she only wants to play but everyone is afraid of her because she looks a bit intimidating but again, like I said, she's such a sweet dog whose soul mission is to just make a friend. But I love her so freaking much and I really couldn't imagine my life without her now and the both of us couldn't be happier. I love your dogs and they add so much cuteness to the video, it's ridiculous.
Also, have a kirby vacuum with a massage attachment & actually use it to help brush out my dog sometimes, & my dog just loves being vacuumed, lol. My 🐶 is so odd & funny😀
