- Today I had a little fun testing out Ooze Baff, which I picked up at a local Toys R Us for $15 for a 2-pack. It's pretty slippery, and you'll need to be careful getting in and out of the tub, but I think kids will love it.

I would never put this crap in my tub, but I could see my daughter having fun with it on a smaller scale, like outside play in her water table.
Tens of thousands of kids are injured every year by slipping and falling in showers and bathtubs. Covering them in slime seems like it's not going to help.
If it gelled up and clogged the drain it might be an awkward call to the plumber.

LOL - :"Oh...I feel it coming out of my shorts." What better way to increase the risk of injury than making a bathtub more slippery? Anyone who uses this should have a good medical insurance plan - that includes psychiatry and orthopedic injury coverage.

That is just one huge mess to clean up-the kids, the tub, and all the stuff they touch..not worth the effort.
Pretty darn sure....yup, my city has issued a notice that they don’t want these things going into the sewage system. I’m on septic but don’t it’s good for those either. Thx for checking the staining potential

I think there's another brand/variation where it comes with a packet that turns it back to normal water.

Yeah, my mom wouldn't let me take bubble baths as a kid, because of the risk of a UTI. I can't imagine what this could do.

I got this for my kids a few years back. They had fun with it, but my plumbing didn't. It clogged up the drainpipes in my whole house for a week. As it dries out it re-crystalizes inside the pipes where you can't see it. It is basically the same material inside diapers that absorbs water.
First day off in two weeks and here I am watching a grown man play in a bathtub. . .lol. Honestly though I love the channel, easy sub. Keep up the great work and content :)

When you were trying to describe the consistency...I kept wondering how it compared to something like K-Y or Astroglide. Not trying to be funny. It just looked like that.

So this stuff is basically birthing fluid concentrate. Sold as "j lube" at tractor supply or other farm supply stores. I believe it's Polyethylene Oxide (long hydrophilic polymer chains). You can buy it in bulk if your kids really like it. Same stuff now used for lube bars on disposable razors.
Seems dangerous....kids get out the tub and blam! Slip on the floor and break their skull on the tub. I sure wouldnt use this product without full parental supervision.
Yes it's very slippery when you get out of the tub! I had to go right into the shower to wash all of it off.
I’d only use it in like a kiddy wading pool outside. I actually did a pool full of the jelly naff stuff for my sons 6th birthday

honestly ,this seems like it would be a better outside/summer thing. Like, in a kiddie pool, on the lawn, rather than in the bathtub. Where you can hose off before going inside.

It was WONDERFUL 2 c a HANDSOME grown man get in a tub, & "play" with his ooze. When U said, " I'm gonna test this "shirt", I got very hopeful; HBE the swimming trunks were also nice.👍🏿😁
Well since you had to rinse off after ooze baff it might be more fun in a small plastic or a little larger swimming pool ??
I'm curious to know if it left the bath tub gross and in need of scrubbing.
I think this might be more appropriate in an inflatable kiddie pool so that when kids play in it, and inevitably slip and fall, it’s less painful than a tub.
pricey but I can see it as once in a while treat for kids, pretty neat thing.

You do good reviews. In this case, I'm older than you, so I wouldn't be into it, but maybe would be fun for a kid on a special occasion, like a birthday.
Make a batch of J-Lube and they even sell a tarp and you can slather yourself up in basically the same way. It's a water activated powder that gels in water. Used in veterinary fields but some people do full body lube play with it.

There is another product that has another mixture that you add when done with the bath that breaks it down completely making it septic and sewage safe. It also allows you to add much more water and makes the water a lot more slimy. I wish I could remember the name of the product.
Gelli Baff/Squishy Baff. But that product is actually worse (this is the newer "safer for tubs" version). The kind that required the salt compound to break the polymers was sketchy because it never came with enough to fully break the bonds down so you ended up always draining some and this stuff is hell on the plumbing.

My daughter loves it. They've made it better where you just add a second packet and it dissolves the goo. I've been finding it at Bealls Outlet for about $3 for two baths
You should of tested the second pack of the oooozeee, after the first pack wasn't as slimy. 2 packs would most likely make it much more dense and slimy. The picture might be more than 1 pack or even up to 3 packs.

This reminds me of that other product that basically made your bath jelly except that one had to packets. One to turn it to jelly and another to turn it back to water. I can’t remember what that was called but these seem related

I thought of that, too. You also have to dispose of it, too. I'm not sure what effect dumping green ooze into my yard would have.
