Not a waiter but a customer in a pub 20 years ago. I had a busy day and popped into a pub in the town by the train station. I'm enjoying a Guinness and clock watching to grab the bus. Tjere was a group of people being loud, not disruptive or angry, just noisy. I didn't pay much mind until I recognised what they were talking about. I heard my date of birth, my national insurance number and my job history. They were discussing job applicants and reading out CV's, full of confidencial information out loud for everyone to hear, including mine. I went over, snatched my CV, dumped my pint over his head and walked out the door. I didn't get the job but that guys shoe shop closed down three months later.

Was working at an Applebee's in 2010. Two teenage girls came in. I was serving them. They were at the booth with the POS machine behind it. I was putting in a check.
One girl said, "My dad bought me a Honda Accord for my birthday." Other girl said, "Gross." First girl said, "I know, right? I told him if he didn't get me a BMW, I'd tell everyone he m o l e s t e d me." Second girl said, "Wait, he did?" First girl, "No, he never has, but no one would believe him if he denied it." Second girl, "Why didn't I think of that when I turned 16?"

Not a waiter but i worked in restaurants. This one waitress had a regular who came in with his wife, sister, and parents and without fail he would openly WATCH PORN then excuse himself to "finish." Worst part, to me, is he always had the same waitress and i felt bad because she is the compant sweetheart and everyone loves her

@bonniemcmaken3966 to say upper management there was "lax" is an understatement. Everybody that works there eventually learns that he won't kick anyone out, be it staff or customer, unless they make a scene big enough that it interrupts cash flow. The waitress was/is a trooper though, I left a while ago so I don't know if she's still there or even if he still comes back
