I was the Chaotic Good. I knew most of the people in my school by face, if not name and there was a good 10+ people hanging out together outside, some friends of friends, etc.
One of my friends, B, was being a bit of a jerk to someone in the group, and I was far too lazy to get up from where I was lounging. Pointed at the guy next to him that I barely knew by face and said, "you. Hit him for me." He did. B stopped being a jerk.
It was also the moment I realized I had more power in the school than I thought, having never really considered myself popular despite how many people I knew or from how many different cliques.

Had a good friend in grade school who was a little bit on the stick thin side because of a digestive issue. One year we had a class together and the class bully began closing my friend's class book repeatedly knowing my friend could offer no defense. I started closing the bully's book repeatedly. The bully got angry and challenged me to a fight. He was startled when I answered "Where and when." I was not exactly the teacher's pet, but I was a quiet studious type. We met at the corner of school grounds that afternoon, where I began my best Cassius Clay impression. (Yes, it was that long ago) Halfway through handing him a bloody lip, my music teacher stepped up and reminded me that I had choir practice... something I had forgotten. I told the bully "I'll be back." After practice the bully was gone, but my Grandfather, who had come to pick me up told me that some kid with a bloody lip had ridden his bike up and down the street for some minutes before finally approaching and apologizing to him for what had happened in class. The next day I told the bully that I had gotten the apology and don't make me regret accepting it. I never heard of him bullying anyone after that. Guess he couldn't be sure who else might be my friend. Looking back I realize that my music teacher saw what was happening that afternoon, and chose to say nothing to anyone about it. A known bully got outclassed by the class bookworm and learned a good lesson from it. And I got a reputation for being TNT with a long fuse... I did have to warn one would be bully some years later, but word had spread. He backed down and I never had to raise a hand again... thank goodness. He would have mopped the floor with me.

there was a pothole in my work town that got big enough to fit a recliner, so someone put one in it and everyone went nuts. people lined up to take pictures with it for days, adding flooring, a side table, a lamp, and other stuff, local companies used it for advertising. there was such a huge following for it that they held a celebration of life ceromony when someone filled it over to be done with the nonesense

We had a drunkard neighbour who used to take away pets from other drunks, who mistreated them or didn't want them. The woman wasn't cruel to animals, but she was mostly drunk, so she'd neglect them. I spent my childhood stealing animals from her and rehoming them. She was huge and scary and notoriously aggressive, so could intimidate any mean drunk into surrendering their pet to her, and for me it was easy to sneak into her backyard when she was sleeping it off😂. The system worked pretty good.

Husband and I were staying at a hotel while waiting to close on our house. One day we are sitting outside smoking cigarettes and i hear a elderly lady telling her friends she is moving into her apartment today, and she was gonna sleep on the floor for a bit until she could buy mattress. My husband looks andme and I immediately look up closest mattress store and ordered a full size mattress and frame. We left without saying a word to her and came back and hour later with her bed strapped to the van, just as she was getting back with her lease and apartment keys. So we got her in our van and drove over and set up the bed immediately along with the sheets and pillows we bought. Next day helped her haul furniture and stuff up and husband put together furniture and things and fixed broken things in the apartment (he works in apartment maintenance). Got hugs and thanks and went back to waiting for our house to close. Acts of kindness with just a look.

Me and my sister went to meet my cousin who lives in an old apartment tower in Delhi.
Turned out that there was seepage in his house from the home upstairs
His landlord lived in another city but said that he is OK with what they do and will pay for repairs adjusting it is rent .
We reached the building welfare people who said the woman upstairs is crazy and since she own that flat we cannot call anyone else to intervene , they said they are willing to pay if the seepage is from the common pipes but if it is from her bathroom then she'll have to bear costs
The plumber also said that She cries molestation if on the most minor altercations with men.
The seepage became literal water dripping into the bathroom
My sister placed buckets which were full overnight , mind you she is a glasses wearing skinny girl but she is surprisingly athletic
My sister knocked the door of lady upstairs in the morning and politely asked her one last time , I don't know what that woman replied but apparently it was something like "it's not my problem , I'll get my bathroom fixed when I see problem in my bathroom , the dirty water is in your house it must be your bathroom you get it fixed"
My sister quietly went downstairs and asked us to bring up the buckets of the filthy water
And then asked me and my cousin to stand far and film from both our phones.
My sister quietly begun to pour the water from her small kitchen window which was open using a big tumbler
The woman realised it after 5 minutes and begun to screech.
She opened the door and my sister picked up bucket and threw the water inside her house.
She begin to screech and raised her hand but stopped when she saw us filming
My sister again said politely "this is the night stock , there's more coming after breakfast "
She called the cops and the cops also asked her to get the bathroom checked.
She gave the keys to the building welfare guy and left to some relatives place saying in an authoritative voice "i want this non sense deed by the time I'm back you have two days "
The problem was her and she accepted the expense
My cousins landlord thanked him saying he was sick of that harpy even back in the day when he used to live in that house

Chaotic good - My husband is a night security guard posted at a large corporate office building. They have a parking garage and he regularly escorts employees who work late to their cars for safety. There's a large vagrant population that can get pretty aggressive sometimes.
The owners of the building were refusing to replace the many, MANY burned out light bulbs in the parking garage- which added to the danger, leaving many blind spots in the cameras, because "a few still worked" properly. Many complaints were made by many people, and nada was done.
ALLEGEDLY one of the security personnel paid one of the local homeless people $50 to smash out the last few parking garage lights, forcing the building management to get off their asses and get ALL of the lights replaced. Now there aren't any more camera blind spots and people feel much safer and aware of their surroundings when going to their cars after dark. 😂

I saw a compilation of haunted house videos. Most were just someone freaking out or prop fails, but some were men using women as human shields in the face of a jumpscare. There wasn't any sound, but you could see faces and body language.
Boyfriend tosses Girlfriend at Cleaver Ghost and runs through a door, slamming it in her face. Ghost with big fake cleaver held the cleaver with both palms open and bows towards soon-to-be ex-girlfriend. Stbexgf takes cleaver and charges Stbexbf while ghost watches. Ghost is barely able to keep his feet, he is laughing so hard. Based on how it was moving, I think the cleaver was inflatable.

regarding story #12. years ago as we were leaving to go somewhere our neighbor who was coming home stops and says hey i think i saw one of your dogs on the freeway. we were like nah it cant be. well we were on our way to where we were going and we see our dog running down the embankment on the opposite side of the freeway with several cars pulled over. so we get off the freeway and get back on going the right direction and come up to the chaos. our dog is just running way from everyone trying to help. so we send my sister (i would have helped but i had just had a surgery on my hip and could not walk with out crutches) to see if we can catch her. we were informed that she had been hit by a car. sister has to carry her up to the van and she was not a small dog so she was struggling trying not to drop her while walking up this very steep hill. some of the people helping come up to us and say well that must be your dog cause sister was able to catch her so quickly and when someone would try to help sister carry doggo she would snap at them. so we take her straight to the vet (luckily my best friend worked there) so i go in to tell her about whats going on to which she snaps at me "not now i have an emergency case" i just said "yes i know, its our good doggo" she then starts running faster to get to her. thankfully doggo was ok for the most part, she just had a badly broken leg. she had to stay in at the vet for a few days and the whole time bff had to take care of her cause bff was the only person that she would let near her. i dont know how things would have gone if my friend hadnt worked there. the vet had to muzzle her when ever he was working with her. doggo lived a long happy life and was not really affected by getting hit by the car. this happened in the mid 90's i would be interested to see if my story may be the other half of story #12
eta... thank you to who ever helped that day

We stole a cat that was struggling to survive in a house that had no money for litter or cat food, much less electricity and rent, but plenty for drugs and the casino. A few months later, we insisted the 16y.o. daughter of that house come visit us (she'd been sent to live with relatives before the theft). She saw the cat and cried out his name; we insisted this was a different cat. This cat had its shots, and no fleas, and had been neutered, etc. We all knew the truth, and she was ecstatic that he hadn't been hurt. Nearly 10 years later, said stolen cat is on my lap as I type this.

When I was a senior in high school, our vice principal was a woman that the majority of the students considered to be a huge bitch. She was the kind of prim woman you would call a Karen nowadays, but back then we just called them bitches. She was always giving out detention for the most minor offenses, and it always felt like she just looked down on the students in general, unless you were a huge suck-ass. Well, come the last semester, I figured out that I didn’t have enough credits to graduate, which was bad because I had already invited all of my family to come see me accept my diploma, some of them had already bought tickets to fly across the country to see me graduate. I was lost and worried about what I was going to tell my family when I got called into the vice principals office, I sat down thinking I was in trouble for something, but no, she told me that she had been going over all of the graduating classes grades and realized that I was short of credits, I only needed one more credit to graduate, so she signed me up for an after school program that would last three hours Monday through Thursday, for the remainder of the semester. And if I completed the course work I would be credited the last credit I needed and I could graduate! It was like a prayer answered, I knuckled down and committed to taking the class, as well as passing all of the current classes I was taking, while some seniors were enjoying a free period, I was in class for 10 hours a day for three months. It was hard, but I did it, I finished everything and graduated with a D-average, but I still got my diploma, still got to walk. To this day I don’t think anyone knows how close I came to not graduating, not even my mom, who was distracted by a shitty marriage and a job she hated. I don’t even remember the vice principals name, but I still think about her to this day 25 years later. If even half of the teachers in schools are as committed as her, then I know we’re moving in the right direction.

My spectrum son has ptsd from violent, unmanaged special needs 'classmates' from so many years of abuse. The school doesn't care what who did to him. They won't tell me, or show the videos. They just talk about what my son did, like he started it.
Oh, and 'classmates' is because all 5 years of elementary school special ed is in 1 room. No aging out either. :(

HOLY F•••! THAT'S ILLEGAL AF, CALL THE COPS, THEY ARE LITERALLY ALLOWING ABUSE IN THEIR CLASSROOM! Legit, I don't even need to know exactly what they're doing, but if it's enough to cause PTSD then you've at the very least got grounds to sue. And another thing, as the parent/legal guardian, if your kid is injured, they HAVE to show you the footage, they can't just say no to cover their own asses or they could get in serious legal trouble. This is allowing the abuse of a minor, which is a crime because they, as the adults, are suppossed to keep the kids safe, so this counts as child neglect/abuse and they deserve to lose their jobs over it.

I am autistic, and one of my classmates in highschool jacob, who was super sweet, had down syndrome. He was pretty capable physically as am I, so we were in the HS co-ed weight training class. Well, we played kickball on fridays, and one day some kid kept picking on him. And when he kicked the ball, they smoked him point blank in the back so hard it took him off his feet. His aid took him to the nurse crying, but no one really did anything. Well, I ended up hitting that jerk kid in the head w the ball so hard that he was outta school for 6 months. Not my story, but one of my absolute favorite moments to hear from one of my best friends.
When my buddy was still in school, he was friends with someone who was physically disabled, and I want to say also on the autism spectrum, but given that my buddy Knew me who was also physically disabled, and a very close friend of mine, who is also on the autism spectrum he was able to be good friends with him, and just hang out and just be a good friend.
One day some people started giving him crap, the kid that is disabled that is, and my friend bless his stupid heart fuck them, apparently he didn’t really amount of much. He probably took a couple swings and they backed off. He got in trouble me and my friend reprimanded him, but we were still super proud, and his friend was incredibly grateful.
