In a new study conducted by an international research group coordinated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine shows that already 2,337 steps a day clearly lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases. But every increase of 500 steps then reduces the risk of dying prematurely by 7%. So basically 10 000 steps is GREAT, but we shouldn't feel bad if we can't reach that every single day 😊

My Samsung fitness tracker has a goal of 6,000 steps a day, which is definitely more manageable for me than 10,000. I like to just take in the nature for the first half of the walk, and the second half I will make phone calls or respond to any emails that I've put be putting off and would normally give me anxiety to deal with in my house. When I take care of these things while walking outside, they really don't seem as bad as I thought they'd be, and I can walk back into my house in a much better mood. I’m the same way. When I know a situation can have a negative outcome I stress out until the decision is made. It happened to me recently and had to wait ONE WEEK before the outcome would be revealed and I had anxiety every single day for those 7 days. Really bad anxiety. Waking up from my sleep with my heart racing anxiety. Rush to the toilet every couple minutes anxiety. REALLY REALLY BAD anxiety. Everything turned out fine. The outcome was what I wanted . All of that was for nothing. However, if a similar situation arise….I’m pretty sure I’m still gonna stress. I hate it and I tell myself I won’t but I always do.
You reinforce my philosophies in life and this idea of stoicism but loving life at the same time feel so valid when most of the people around me think it’s unrealistic. I really appreciate your videos and you’re so inspiring. 💕💕
