    This is the best D300 demo video. Thank you for mentioning that there is no need to find the balance charge mode on the charger. I was concerned about that. Now I know, as long as both plugs are on, it will automatically balance the cells. THANK YOU.

    Great video, thanks! Basically you dont need to guess if its going to be enough power for a certain battery to charge at 1C. Its simple as that: Watts = Volts * Amps. This means 25.2V (6s pack) * 6.8A = 171 Watts from Your charger is what You need👌

    Thinking of replacing my EOS 720i super duo 3...I really love this charger! BUT, having to carry a DC PSU around is getting old. Looking at the D300, it looks great but having no preset profiles and having to adjust settings every time turns me off. I swap from 2 3s 5200's to 2 4s 5500s to 2 4s 7200s as well as charge various other batteries. The Super Duo has profiles and makes this easy as pie. I see where Hyperion is selling the Super Duo3 for 109 right now. I'm hard pressed to not pick up a second one over the D300. Trying to convince myself to get the D300, but it's not working.

    Yes Jason I just watched a Amain hobbies vid on this charger yesterday and hopped he would do a detailed vid... But nevertheless did do enough to get my attention. Your vid on the other hand is what I wanted so a big thanks for that, and yes I definitely do agree this charger and at 300w is perfect. I personally have the sky rc T200 it's great but I do need an update and this genns ace I think is the one. You also have me thinking my T200 is only 100w ..... Has it not been charging my 6s properly 🤔....

      Thanks man. So something weird that happened is that I now have the charger plugged right into the wall and now going through an extension cord. And I was able to charge the 6s 6800 mAh at 6.8 amps.

      That is odd. 🤔 Well when I get mine I'll try it like that also and with direct feed and see what happens bud... But thanks for the great review. ❤️💯

    The mAh that is increasing during charging should match with the battery label when charging completes?

    With the g tech batteries do they use power from the battery? The reason I ask is the Spektrum batteries, and the isdt batt air plugs do, and both have been known to drain a single cell to 0, have you seen any issues with that either?

    I was looking into this as I recently purchased a Losi laser nut I'm not too thrilled with spectrum chargers so I'm thinking of purchasing this one just don't know which batteries to go with I know gens ace makes some smart ones and some bashing ones I'm thinking of going with the bashing batteries any thoughts. PS been a nitro guy most of my life except for in the 80s with grasshoppers and lunchboxes . These batteries kinda give me anxiety

    How does this compare to the Hota S6 and Sky RC Maestro? Or is it closer to Hota D6 Pro and Sky RC D200 Neo?

    hi jason, excellent overview...sorry if this is a dumb question but would i have higher amps when charging if i have 240v outlet in my home (Australia) compared to 120v in the US??
    looking at getting this charger to charge Zeee 7000mah 6s batteries.

    • @zzippo81
      @zzippo81 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A single phase 230v outlet that is standard in au and nz homes is 10 amps.
      That said, the main component of the charger itself runs on DC as it outputs DC, not AC so it requires a power supply. There is a power supply built into the unit that can deliver up to 300 watts of power or you can go as high as 700 watts with an external dc power supply. This output would be the same in either region because the conversation is taking place from AC to DC.
      Whether the internal power supply can handle the difference in ac input, the manual states that it can handle input voltages of 100-240 Volts AC or 7-30 Volts DC. (One or the other at a time. Never both at same time. Never AC into DC inputs or vice versa)
      So to sum it up, this will work just fine in the US or AU and would work in the same manner in both places as shown in the video. Your 6S battery charging at 1C (7 amps 22.2 volts) would consume approx 150watts so you would be able to charge two at just under max wattage consumption of internal power supply. Hope something I said here answers what you were curious about.
