Just letting everyone know that you can save your skills, weapons & cosmetics in Darktide by clicking the little + in the top right corner of the loadout screen. IIRC you can make 5 different loadouts for each character.
The only thing I hated with Vermintide 2 is the fact you cannot use the same classes in a match without playing the modded version otherwise awesome game though I prefer Darktide myself I like futuristic stuff and guns, Oh and the non-sprinting for me who like stuff more fast paced games this really kills me in VM2
The ability to sprint in Darktide rather than just have a 6 inch dodge is enough to make Vermintide feel incredibly antiquated in comparison. I agree that both are great games but with the recent rise in popularity of 40K I’m glad Fat Shark finally brought Darktide to PS5. Great video!
I was convinced vermintide 2 had sprinting too...then was playing it a while back and just couldn't believe it. I couldn't agree more with how much that changes the dynamic of how it 'feels'. Thanks for watching!
Vermintide 2 is more demanding in the moment to moment combat and the nuance of the different tools. Darktide is more demanding in the strategy of who, what, when, where, why and how. You can’t just saunter in to a Darktide shooting gallery and expect to survive without a plan of action, proactive and reactive. You can’t just swing a Vermintide greathammer and expect it to work well without understanding which attacks and attack patterns best suit the current situation while transitioning to an entirely different scenario as smoothly and quickly as you can. Both require what the other emphasize, but the flavor is in the exercise of different player skills. (Boatloads of Cataclysm V-tide 2 on PS5, I’ve been enjoying the change of pace in D-tide).
Darktide is vermintide if every enemy was the annoying archer
lol. I can't argue that either.

Thank you!!!! That's awesome information.

The point of Vermintide is for enemies to always be faster than you tho, that's why the lack of sprinting
It definitely works because you can't run from a horde.
except vermintide sucks and is outdated trash n darktide slaps, but ok same game... ???
Says you.
Sounds like a skill issue
Vermintide has way, way more depth than darktide, and it requires more skill.
