I guess so. Just keep in mind tho that they're not just "classes" but they are also premade/story characters. Because of that you can only pick one character each in a game. It's like trying to play with 2 Tracers or two Soldier 76s.

I was convinced vermintide 2 had sprinting too...then was playing it a while back and just couldn't believe it. I couldn't agree more with how much that changes the dynamic of how it 'feels'. Thanks for watching!

The point of Vermintide is for enemies to always be faster than you tho, that's why the lack of sprinting

It definitely works because you can't run from a horde.

@@societycasefiles Never had that issue happen to me and I mostly play Auric Maelstrom, however Havoc yeah you defenitely can't get away with making these positional mistakes

I wish I was surprised Hierophant wasn't included. It was brand new. But they really should have made that update. Because you're 100% right. What's the point of buying it separately? Unless like I say, you're just -GAGGING- for a new experience after playing with everyone. But even then...this game's pretty much been put to bed. And unless they are putting out a sequel with the new classes as building blocks, it was kind of a quick cash grab attempt.

Sounds like a skill issue

Vermintide has way, way more depth than darktide, and it requires more skill.

Vermintide 2 is more demanding in the moment to moment combat and the nuance of the different tools. Darktide is more demanding in the strategy of who, what, when, where, why and how. You can’t just saunter in to a Darktide shooting gallery and expect to survive without a plan of action, proactive and reactive. You can’t just swing a Vermintide greathammer and expect it to work well without understanding which attacks and attack patterns best suit the current situation while transitioning to an entirely different scenario as smoothly and quickly as you can. Both require what the other emphasize, but the flavor is in the exercise of different player skills. (Boatloads of Cataclysm V-tide 2 on PS5, I’ve been enjoying the change of pace in D-tide).

I played both game, and I will say both game are great in different way.

The admin is slickly designed. I personally think that’s the biggest reason. The game lets you process a lot of loot very quickly, and level your character in seconds so you can play another game. The mission length is solid too, for a drop in, drop out game so it’s a go to if you don’t have a ton of time.

Yeah, that's a great deal and it's way worth it!

It does Diablo with guns very well. It’s gets repetitive though. But there is a lot there. You could play this one for a thousand hours and not run out of stuff to do. 18 characters with several viable builds a piece. More levels than I can count with end game.

I just got the Imperium edition today on Playstation store for $6! I don't even know anything about warhammer, looks great!

So I thought they added offline mode. But when I had no internet, it would not let me play at all. And since I didn't have internet at the time, I couldn't even research it effectively.

@@societycasefiles The game might still be dependent on Steam's DRM then. The main point of offline was to make the game no longer be dependent on their own servers for when those will eventually shut down, dunno if they killed any other sort of DRM the game might have.

@@societycasefiles So I actually tried it and the game only warns me it can't connect to steam cloud saves but still allows me to play it. If you're on steam the game really should be allowing you to play offline. That being said, I am writing this 2 weeks later, and there was at least one patch in the last two weeks from what I'm seeing on Steam. One point seems to indicate a network issue while another is:" Added a new error message to display when the game is launched without Steam"

I play on PC though so I'm not entirely sure!

Yes! The snow man's head comes off to reveal that he's a bomb too! But I do agree that it is way loose. Like...easily lose it loose. But pop it off and imagine the nub painted metallic. Which I guess is why there's a clock next to him on the ground. It's the timer!

I think you're right. They could have at least set it up for bigger expansions. But perhaps it just wasn't successful enough for them to justify. The models were all there.

Yeah, I had to adjust my thinking about dying. I fell off a small embankment that looked about 7 feet high and died. That was illuminating. Also, I drowned once because I thought you could swim. Oops!

@@MrJohnmirellithis aint nothing compared to the originals. The mainstay modded versions of the trilogy are also very difficult. If you ever do play the originals I recommend playing Shadow of Chernobyl with the Autumnal Aurora modpack as it makes the visuals/animations and a few other things more digestible. Call of Pripyat with MISERY 2.2 is peak stalker trilogy experience. Then play Anomaly for the sandbox. Skip clear sky. You can piece information together from the other 2 and anomaly

Considering all you get with the game, that seems like a great deal. But then I rarely feel bad about spending less than $15 for a game. Even if I only play it for a few hours.

True. I think EA has been paying of these smaller youtuber to give a positive review for the game, since alot of big youtuber didnt even get review copy. EA has been trying to silence the critique off.

I can assure you I got nothing for what I'd call a reasonable review. I did NOT say it's the best game out there. I found a lot of positivity. I get that you didn't. I did make it clear in the review that I acknowledge how polarizing the game is.

All subjective too. I loved the game Tenchu Z. Critics sure didn't. I've liked PLENTY of games that the critics hated or a bunch of people slammed with terrible reviews. It's fine. Expectation is also a killer. I had HUGE expectations for Starfield (I honestly don't know why) and I was pretty let down and negative about it.

@@societycasefiles Subvert expectations. When you're an old fart like me, you tend not to expect anything. Still, I wouldn't say that my disappointment makes anything technically BAD. It's the influencers influencing the arrogance of "I don't like it, so it's bad" that bothers me, as does the opposite "I like it so it's good."

Thank you! And yes, I felt like the harsher reviews didn't judge fairly. I don't know what people expected. I don't know if they hyped themselves up or went in ready to be super critical. I kept an open mind and I'm playing it even as I write this.
