Do you have a Mechanical License? You need one to post covers now. This happened to me recently. Its been 10 years since I posted a video and did not know this was a new regulation. In my opinion, TH-cam has dropped the ball on this. Nowhere does it state, before going Public, do you need a License to post covers. I found out the hard way.
@@joshuajohnson2216 no. If you state that you do not own the copyrights or any part of that material, it still doesn't matter. You have to have the license. There are a few agencies that you have to go through. As long as you have the license you don't have to state anything. TH-cam automatically knows that you're going through a third party licensing entity
