Hello valued viewers, I hope you are all doing very well.
I'm glad they fixed the packaging issue that the hornet handles had. Mine took an extra week to arrive because the shipping label got torn off, due to the odd shape of the shrink wrapped package.
I’m definitely going to have to get this and the F-18 stick package for Christmas when I get into DCS.
Make sure you actually like the game first
@@youraveragejoe9298 yeah… but I don’t really want to buy a stick, then my parents say “no, you already have one” and then I’m stuck with a 50 dollar entry-level stick.. but I’m willing to learn the basics of the game.
Nice job Kelso!!👍
Thanks!
Awesome and informative video, thank you!
thank you for this review. The big downside with the Orion2 base is that Windows no longer recognizes it after a few months, for some people. I know someone who has the problem and who is in contact with Winwing support and still no solution.
Odd, I have been using my Orion 2 since its launch and never had a similar issue, not heard of it either. Hopefully they can find a solution.
@@skilgannon5069 this is definitely a thing with electonic devices sometimes using cheaper PCBs and other core electrical components. Not being recognized through USB is a clear sign of a hardware failure and my TM Warthog throttle had this happen; thankfully it was a single chip TM sent to me (and they very much knew what the issue was) and easy to replace. It's crap shoot that also depends on environment possibly. For my throttle, I had it stored away unused for a bit, so perhaps the fact that it stayed cold for a longer period allowed something to deteriorate and die? It wasn't in an outdoor cold so obviously that's unacceptable. If the Orion2 base fails even with substantial and consistent use, that's very bad and I worry for the replacement F-16EX/Orion2 I just purchased. If that fails, I'm probably essentially never getting Winwing.
Hello folks. We've provided two .png's of the keymap images for both throttle handles.
I ordered both with 2 more bases :)
Really wish you guys would have spoken about this with the Taurus throttle. I bought it and liked it alot with the Taurus.
Dear CAP I am having trouble deciding to get the f-15e with the airbrake switch or go balls out with the f-15ex with way more versatility
Thanks for your great content here 🙏🏼I’m starting my flight sim journey after a couple years of sim racing. I just received my Orion2 F15EX throttles, but I’m having trouble with finding instructions for mapping which functions to bind with the buttons and switches. (Plus, the SimappPRO isn’t loading profiles to DCS). Any help is appreciated 😅
In lid of boxes is manuels
Will these two work with the Orion 2 Anniversary edition?
Dammit another throttle head to buy.
Please show us the vibrations !!!
why are the boat switch and china hat defferent than warthog's throttle?it is so confusing😅
Because the China Hat on the Warthog is bad. Most people upgrade to to the Xbox style joystick on them.
Hey CAP. Just curious, does the TU-160 have anti-ship capabilities
Not sure but doubt it, the Badger was their anti-ship plane I think.
So how does it stack up to the FA18 throttle, for those who fly neither the FA18 or the F15
The F15EX grips have alot more buttons and controls than the F18 or F15E, so provide more versatility.
Did you say "Twin Sock"?
Maybe . . . me no talky good sometime. 🤨
