More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

Given that Ukraine now has access to long range ATACMS and the UK has said it's fine with Ukraine using storm shadow inside russia I think those occupier troops massing in Kursk are going to have a very exciting and short stay there .

The U.S. still hasn't authorized the ATACMS to hit targets in Russia itself
Now, we really just need for all these promised equipment to get to Ukraine quickly instead of the slow trickle that we have fed them over the last 2 years

Yes map change in Chasiv Yar. Ukraine counter-attacked and pushed back by 500 meters in the south of the Russian vector, giving Ukraine control on a road bringing reserves, amunition and vehicles to their bridgehead.

Rheinmetall stocks went up by 100% in the last 6 months.
Especially after the introduction of the Panther with the Rheinmetall 130mm gun, a gun that basically made most composite armor obsolete. Leave it to the Germans to made armor pointless again like in the 1960's, I genuinely wonder what will happen if that 130 hits a T-90M

Great show Juzzie... The way you make this horrific war palatable for use to take in with these huge losses of people. The amount of life taken and wrecked is shockingly disturbing. I hope they take Putler out soon. The remarkable Ukraine spirit is awe inspiring and gives one hope. You do the people of Ukraine a great service in how you cover the war and it shows in the videos. The love and support that you have for Ukraine is another reason to keep coming back learning more and educating others with other sources added as well. Making it a conversation starter to keep it in the minds of the average person so once aid is needed again they are informed to know why. Much respect to you and if you have a staff also to them. Why couldn't we let western nations Forces take up positions around Ukraines borders offering them defences and air defences. Letting the Ukrainians send alltheir troops to the "active" borders against the Russians?
Therefore forceing them to leave these borders alone or face the reactions of the "Security Forces" which, are NATo and all Others
I have often posited the same idea. Let a police force of UN/NATO forces ensure stability and sovereignty along the Moldovan and Belaruzzian borders and release 30k AFU to move elsewhere. (Even purely European forces would be acceptable as it is the rest of Europe that is threatened.)

You can literally go the the tech black markets in China, buy parts separately and assemble your own iPhone for pennies on the dollar.

These tank modifications say just how desperate the tankers are not to die. In WWII when Patton arrived in Belgium, he saw many tanks modified to fight in hedgerows and the like. His first act was to ban all modifications, and force the Army to fight with what the government gave them. He felt it restored order and predictability. I don't know how this applies but it is historically not uncommon for tankers to get out the welding torch when things go wrong.
The reason why the yanks suffered far higher casualties than the Brits on D Day, despite the fact that far more Brits actually landed in Normandy, was that they refused to adopt the 'funnies' that the Brits designed and used, specially adapted tanks to deal with a range of obstacles. A ever the arrogance of the know-alls cost them dearly.

They brought out T-55's, T-62's, and T-10's, the better question is how many *modern* tanks they have left in storage
In total before the war it was 17-20k. This includes those relic T34s. So operational? Id high ball it at another 5k with some 1k for salvageable parts?

I wouldn't count on them running out within the next 2 years at this rate if that's what you're trying to figure out, but really they're not the biggest threat of the Russian army at this point, it's the lack of empathy in the Russian population about their own soldiers that is worse.
