More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

Thank you, Juzzie - the Roman catapult (I think it is the Onager - looked it up) in the Russian Victory parade is classic 😂😂😂 They seem to have no shame with their lone T34 tank, and murdering Ukrainians.
Russia is crumbling at a much-faster rate than we realise. Their military hardware, air-defense systems, jets, tanks, support vehicles and oil refining capabilities is gradually being eroded away. Just trying to deliver 1,000 new troops a day is an enormous requirement and we are seeing the result. Not one new or capable tank has entered the front-line in the last 12 months and new we see Russian swarms of drone attacks diminishing. You can only work out Russia's depletion by seeing the reduction in their offense.
With the might off Russia. . . . . . being the world's second biggest and best "war machine" they can barely send a wave of 50 troops to an active war-zone and finish up losing 90% for the gain of 100 metres.
Ukraine is targeting "bigger things" by destroying oil refineries and manufacturing facilities and creating this eventual collapse. But when the "snake will die" is a hard question to answer.

Also wanted to mention, since it's their victory day, the US provided the Russia practically everything during WW2. They didn't defeat Germany alone.

Brits also provided them with warplanes - which they trashed in woods in Ukraine rather than pay for them.

7:22 - That's not a T-55, but a T-54. Notice the lack of a smoke extractor on the barrel. Also seemingly no upgrades at all to the original (1950s) equipment.
Hope it gets salvaged and put into a museum. Poor thing just wants to retire at this point.
Swapping barrels is a common thing. T-55 should have an ABC protection set.

I do think others estimated the tank numbers to be about 12.500 or so not 10.000 with storaged units, but of course a decent amount likely will be unsalvagable. I do think Russia is producing some on top of that since the T90's still seen as casulties on a daily basis or close enough, and surely they would have been all out of those if they did not build more.
