More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.

Ukraine designed and I think built a lot of the former USSR specialized machinery like the Antarctic tracked personnel carrier. They seem very adept at modifying what they’ve got and building new things.
From what I remember, a lot of the USSR scientists were Ukrainians, ie: nuclear stations, bomb advanced weapons, and even Russia's latest tank development (back in the 1990s). Therefore, most of Russia's mighty scientists aren't Russian at all 😂
Shipbuilding was done in Ukraine. The Orki have struggled to develop engines, which is accompanied by a few tugboats.

I described what would happen to the Black Sea fleet a year ago. I believe my exact words were "Russia will have it's 5hit pushed back in all the way to it's colon ( Rostov on Don)." Looks like that's happening. Sometimes I get things right lol. Cheers Juzzie mate.
Here is a brief summary of the the relative indicators of the strength of the supposedly "2nd strongest military in the world" against Ukraine, which military is ranked 18th among 145 countries. All this, while Ukraine has, until recently, been restricted to fighting 'with one hand tied behind their backs', only on their own territory. Thank goodness that restriction has mostly been lifted.
How good is the Ukrainian Army? The combat units of the Ukrainian Army are on a level with most Western land forces. Compared to NATO units, they are behind in training and equipment but on the other hand, they have far more experience and have shown exceptional determination, courage, morale, and resilience.
{A really significant statement, proved by their own very real actions and performance, particularly given the obstacles} And apparently far outstripping those qualities and characteristics among ruZZian forces.

If little Vlad doesn't want his serfs viewing a more prosperous country, why not create his "buffer zone" on the Russian side of the border? He would still have an army.
I am amazed at how little attention is given to the "vehicles and fuel tanks" category. These are essential tactical vehicles, as the carry fuel and ammo to the front lines. Losses in that category are from 50 to 75 units per day. You would think that would merit a mention.

Russia has already test flown a prototype airliner and have claimed it will revolutionize the airline industry for years to come. The project's name is the Konstantin Kalinin's K7, that's as much as I can tell you due to the fact I don't like tea and have a thing about windows.
The K7 was built 1931-33 in Kharkiv.
