More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.

Boots should be worn by others for the day, the average Russian has very little information, then a bunch of guys show up and pull them out of their beds.

From other vids (last October) the machine gun drone appears to be a Baba Yaga. It could be useful if they could hit a target from much further away (perhaps using optical stabilizers for the gun). At the range shown it might be an even fight between the drone and soldiers firing back. Baba Yagas are so feared that Russia put steel posts beneath some of their drones. The idea is to drop down and shear one of the Baba's props. (They had success once or twice but at the cost of the attacking drone, once after the Baba destroyed a Russian tank.)

Reconsider your usage of "decimate", you mean something different. The impact of your point gets diluted. To decimate is to "remove 1 in 10" or 10% of a force, NOT demolish or annihilate it entirely.

@@Comm.DavidPorter That depends on the age of the people you are around. When a word is misused by modern slang such as "literally", all the pre-slang and educated crowd just cringes.
Sometimes, there is literally no other word that has the original meaning which means you can't use one-word to convey meaning and have to now use a whole sentence to explain what that single word conveyed perfectly - before it was mangled.
Imagine how awkwerd (sic) it will be when we can't use "(sic)" anymore because it's meaning has been diluted and we have to use a whole sentence to explain that every typo isn't our own fault, it was just part of the original quote. Words have meanings for a reason; fads come and go.
Ignorance is not fixed by accepting more ignorance; it is fixed by gently correcting the ignorant. Politely. Nobody wants to spend the rest of their life looking stupid, so most people appreciate knowing the correct usage of a word.

Russia seems to have infinite numbers of cannon fodder, but a finite number of cannons! [Artillery&Tanks] It appears they
are reaching critical mass regarding tank and artillery losses. In the 80% range they are no longer considered combat effective. A very difficult place for a country to find itself, but this is a big advantage for a population that chooses to revolt.

Thank you for your cheeriness in the face of grave challenges for the wonderful Ukrainians They shed their blood for every single one of us in the free world, yet our vaunted leaders took far too long to recognise that or to comprehend Putin's evil and the danger to all. The jury is out on whether the West has truly stepped up to the plate and at last stopped half hoping their friend Putin would suddenly become non evil. He's half crazed if not all crazed - I think..
The enormous quantity of Russian pieces of military equipment must have cost a staggering amount of money. That cost is possibly what bankrupted the Soviet Union.
So the deep storage in February was 8,750 assuming it all works and the remaining artillery as of today 2,316 that’s 11,066. At 48/day that’s 230 days or 7.6 months. But likely there are less than 11,066 and they are likely to be far less capable having been passed over several times already.

I was thinking about the drones with guns problem the other day.
If you could slap a long range rifle on one of those bad boys you’d have something.
But small arms and fragile small drones seems like a risky combination at best.
With the current technology being what it is the more practical approach is a weapon system that generates little to no recoil.
So yes I’m suggesting crossbow drones, no I’m not crazy there’s a serious argument there.
But also something like a pneumatic weapon (air gun) could throw a projectile far enough to be worth considering.
Juzzie given the current damage to Russia’s oil and gas infrastructure as well as all the fuel trucks destroyed, the fact that Russia is running out of artillery pieces, shells, gas and oil, gold, and currency reserves: how much longer do you think they can keep this fight up?

Tipping point? From artillery losses 84.5% implied artillery starting point of 15,014, with 12,687 destroyed this leaves 2,327 which at todays loss rate of 48 leaves 48 days before the 100% figure is reached. OK North Korea, China and Iraq funneling more in, as are satellite states, but some of the internal stockpiles are surely rusted out. It sort of implies for any sustained point of aggression, another point has been weakened and unless there has been significant external resupply another 3 months will remove the artillery option, I hope that does not lead to a revised mode of aggression.
I don't know where Juzzie takes his numbers from. According to Wikipaedia (that is to the ISS report "The Military Balance", Feb.2022, ISBN 9780367466398), Russian Ground Forces had before the invasion around 2100 active artillery systems and circa 16700 more in store. Granted, storage conditions were not optimal, but that leads to a lower, yet sizeable, ratio of lost equipment, not counting, as you say, newly built and imported systems.
Same for other pre-invasion totals.
