Vince, i can't help but noticed that most of your locations are in a warehouse or abandoned spaces, but it gives rustic contrast to the modern cars you're reviewing...
looking now at MG4 coz I heard that MG Thailand(which is the MG southeast asia manufacturing base) just announced life time warranty on the battery. If MG Phils brings that to the Phils, I might seriouly lean towards MG.
no wonder 1.4m pesos, dimensions and other numbers similar to the BYD Dolphin. However, the Dolphin is already updated with better specs in China like 60kwh battery, likely to arrive in the country within a months
Vince, you didnt mention how many hours to charge vehicle. It will take approximately 22 hrs in an ordinary socket, 3.6 kw charger 14 hrs, 7kw charger 7 hrs. We still experiencing brownouts much more if more ev on our street? Better go for hybrid or ice since we still use a lot fossil fuel in our grid.
Cutting corners implies a critical function was affected or made worse like by reducing the welds or skipping a paint process or using cheaper bolts. What MG did was spec the car to reach a certain price point. Its more product planning
@@autoindustriya interesting thing about price point, it may be at least 50% inflated due to our obstinate taxes. I mean the seagull is just 600-700k php in China and more than twice that here wth right? But gee wow EVs get color coding exemptions. Big hairy deal.
I will choose the MG ONE Miles way better than the EV4. don't be fooled by power and efficiency of EV because EV is good for 4 to 8years before warranty expired. The moment battery is dead the EV is garbage Car. Battery replacement will cost you 800k. And electric motor is disposable will cost you 800k as well. Where is the COST EFFECTIVENESS ????
@intlexperts6090 You do realize EV batteries last more than 10 years right? LFP batteries in new EVs have a cycle life of 3,000 to 5,000. If you're charging 3x a week (very conservative estimate), that would mean 20 years of life at 3k cycles, and nearly 40 years for 5,000 cycles. All I'm saying is please stop spreading ignorance and misinformation especially if you don't know what you're talking about.
the actual retail unit has alloy rims instead of steel one.
The lack of cameras, specially a 360 one is more of a concern than the steel wheels. Wheels can be replaced, while system integrated cameras cant.
if a lack of a 360 camera concerns you, then you shouldn't be behind any wheel.
if i get one of these, i'll probably just ask them to install a reverse camera
When you apply for a license does the instructor teach you how to use a 360 cam?
What are you talking about? Subcompact? Yaris size? Smaller than Mazda 3?

Yup it's our warehouse/homebase for videos.
@@autoindustriyadoes MG going to bring in the MG 4 x power?

how true is it that battery is less efficient in hot climate like philippines have ?
does EV produce more heat inside cabin than ICE cars?

The dolphin's exterior looks ridiculous though.

Cold aircon?
Improve first their after sales support then we can consider
carwow's 2023 car of the year!
Test drove this at MIAS, the quietness will definitely a danger to those zombies crossing the road with their cellphones or earphones on.
Baguio test drive
bro.. an EV this good without a reverse camera lol
I would pick MG1, mas pogi kasi haha.
17 inches rim? Hmm looks like in 18 or even 19 anyways, another optical illusion , maybe because of its all black color. Good job MG.
steel wheel- cost cutting of car dealers to lower the price
Go ev
nothing on this car resembles a Mazda 3. your reviewer must be high AF
They cut corners a lot, it doesn't make sense
How? please explain

Spare tire? Atleast put a donut tire or something.
That steel wheel, really in 2024?
Seats?
@@lennard6094 good point on tire and I agree. However cloth seats are what you expect on base models.

overpriced
Because of our taxes. Original retail overseas is at least 50% less.

I'll race you with my MG4 EV,😄 and I'll see you after 4-8 years...I have my own crystal ball as well.
