Que- I just found your channel last month and I’ve watched your videos. I too have had Mustangs and a Camaro 1SS 1LE and even a C6 Z06 in Lemans Blue. So all V8 muscle cars with that lad torque. But I’m really digging the GR Corolla and the CTR AND the Integra… As a former owner of the same V8’s I’ve had. Are you happy with these 4 bangers? Or are you having V8 withdrawals? I’m seriously contemplating one of these two cars you have or the Civic Type R. So do you see yourself keeping one of these for a while?
I feel like one, if not both of these will be hanging around for a while. Unless a Supra falls into my lap for cheap. I do miss my V8s. Mainly because of the sound and attention. The driving experience of these cars surpass my V8s. Not to say the V8s weren't capable but I get a thrill out of approaching the limits. All of my V8s had extremely high limits that I couldn't even approach on the track that I drove them on. I need a huge track and a ton of space
I think that’s my attraction towards these. On what public road, not named the Autobahn or the Nurburgring in Germany, can o test the limits of a C6 Z06? Or even the Stang or Camaro to some extent… that’s why these 4 bangers look like fun. Ring they necks and they ask for me. All on a public road….
Mannnn based on your track day and daily driving experience this 1 month review is gold! I’m shocked to hear that you said this car handles so well at a technical track. Very interesting. Woooww the seats look like they keep you in but man I guess they just for looks based on your review
Great video brother I felt like you were extremely honest in your review, Nate may want to fight you saying that you choose the Integra over the Type R but I'm not mad atcha lol. BTW you put the "S" into STUBBORN for not cleaning up that "D" Stain on your driver seat! I'm surprised that RC21 isn't giving you a hard time about that lol.
Great review! I just bought a brand new Manual G80 at 80k MSRP. For 20k more comparing with dealers markup; you get heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, rear wheel driver, 170 more horsepower, moon roof, middle rear seat, power trunk, 0-60 in 4 seconds, nicer interior, 2nd row climate controls, 36 months maintenance and a much nicer interior. I believe the 20k was worth it! Any thoughts?
ITS can be had for msrp. Almost $30k is a lot of $. The g80 is a great car but completely different. They’re massive. The shift feel/trans also sucks compared to the ITS. The s58 however is an unbelievable motor. I have an x3m as well and it’s phenomenal.
Thanks and nice! I wanted the G80 M3 when I bought my M2. The M3 has a lot going for it. 20k more would price me out. If I’m spending that amount the CT5V BW would be my choice. The M3 is amazing though. All of these cars are pricey
Good review! I test drove one last weekend. The turbo lag was pretty significant but the handling was amazing. Great car overall, especially at $52k MSRP, but unfortunately most are at least 58-62 with accessories preinstalled.
@@Vosovogalsyncope they've been sitting at most Acuras here for a month. I think mainly due to the earlier production integras being fully optioned out. Not a lot of folks wanna spend 62k on one I guess. And one dealership isn't even marking up. Others are marking up an additional $5k bringing totals near 70k
If I were to spec mines out, I would only get the copper wheels. The dealerships are supposed to let the customers drive the demo models (like mines was). They aren't obligated to but that's why they were sent to the dealerships.
You drove the hell out of that car on the track. Just need some performance tires whenever you go again switch them out there. Happy you enjoying it sir.
honda engineering shines where it counts. If I lived where it was snowy most of the year the GR Corolla would be top of my list (the golf r and wrx feel kinda dull to me), but I agree the fl5/de5 are the better cars would love to see/hear your thoughts on driving the de5 and fl5 hard
I’m still loving my A-Spec 6MT, but it is tempting knowing how good the Type-S is! Just gotta check my couch cushions for that extra ~$14K and I’ll join you 😅
You think the limit on this is less then the gt350? The type r and type s I drove the other day I felt like these cars are planted more then the gt350 sold the car already but still
I think it's the lower power and short gearing. I drive it so hard all the time. It's just the feeling of it that I like more. The Integra is so good at what it does that it doesn't add the drama that I feel in the Corolla.
The Corolla is more fun because it's not as capable which means he can hit the car's limits faster and when the car is at the verge of being out of control is when it becomes fun.
@@mikemccormick6128 you out into words what I was trying to say. Hero. I’m always approaching the limits in the Corolla. I’m most likely gonna downgrade tires to all seasons if not winter tires to enjoy it more.
@@QueTheChaotic having had a gr circuit and and type s, I agree the gr is slightly more fun. Just a bit. I think for me it comes down to the gr being a bit rough around the edges. The motor is less smooth, and more quirky, it feels a bit more rowdy. Additionally driving the gr in 30/70 mode you get the feeling more of rwd. It makes it feel a little faster as it pushes you more, while fwd feels more like it’s “pulling” you. That said the ITS win’s literally everywhere else. What surprised me the most is how sharp the turn in is, and how little understeer there is. The gr definitely understeers a lot more. Even in track or 30/70 it just wants to push into corners.
A daily in the snow for me would prob be a awd sedan prob a tlx but man that integra looks dope & can’t go wrong with the 6 speed 💪🏼
Purchased a 2024 aspec tech last week. It’s been super fun. Your vids helped me make the choice 🙏
Awesome! I'm glad the videos helped. Congrats!
Que needs to provide some fresh pavement for the track he tore up last time! Que doing time in those corners! Enjoyed this review man!

Those seats make me have a sad. This thang is so capable at the track. I think it would hang with the M2 if not beat it
Just looked at a Civic Type R today and was excited about the beautiful front seats until I saw the sad cloth back seats. 😳
They gave up when it came to the rear seats lol

Wow the dealership let you test drive one, nice! In elk Grove it's 70k and they act like it's a Ferarri.
Facts, I'm looking now, and it's ridiculous the ADM and accessories are crazy 🤪

Decision decision. GR Manual hand brakes or Type R best shifter in the industry.
