This is a really enjoyable video. I find trophy stats very interesting. My first was Ghost of Tsushima. I just didn't want to stop playing it. I've gone through some slow periods but I think I'm firmly in the addiction phase. I got 9 plats in 2020, 1 in 2021, 2 in 2022, 19 in 2023, and 13 so far this year so I'm currently at 44. The rarest plat I've gotten is for Beat Saber.

Great video. I really enjoyed watching and listening to your journey to 100. You got there fairly quickly and with many decent games to boot. I've recently reached 100 although took me a lot longer. My first plat was Uncharted 3 12 years back. Back then I wasn't really going for the plats - more so trying to get as many trophies as possible. It was mainly multiplayer and some difficulty related that stopped me from the plat. It's only the last few years and since getting a PS5 where that has changed and numbers have really increased. There are some good game recommendations in the comments. Arkham Asylum and City for sure if you enjoyed Arkham Knight. I think City is an ultra rare so it could be your first 😊. I'd also recommend the Dishonoured games - they're enjoyable. I've added Scars Above to my list so thanks for the recommendation 👍

Great journey and some solid advice. You actually got to 100 pretty quickly. My first platinum was Legends Of Wrestlemania in 2011 on the PS3 and my 100th was Deathloop on the PS5 in 2022. Think my highest number of plats in a year was 32 in 2022. A lot of good games on your list. I’m also a big fan of Uncharted, Far Cry and Resident Evil. Scars Above was an unexpected gem - like you I didn’t have any issues with the trophies. I note you have Deliver Us Mars - I do fancy that. Was hoping they would do a physical release but looking unlikely now so will probably just download it later this year. I remember you said that you didn’t like Fromsoftware games. In terms of other triple A games that I have played my recommendations for you would be Spider-Man 2, Prince Of Persia The Lost Crown, Returnal, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Horizon Forbidden West, Forspoken, Ghostwire Tokyo and Marvels Guardians Of The Galaxy. With regard to double A / indie games I would endorse Kena Bridge Of Spirits, Forged In Shadow Torch, A Plague Tale Requiem, Death’s Door, The Knight Witch, Ghostrunner, Atlas Fallen, Evil West, Hades, Last Stop, Road 96, The Forgotten City, In Sound Mind and Trine 5.
thanks mate. i probably got to 100 quickly thats to starting during the pandemic. I really like Deliver Us Mars, highly recommend it, i had to get it digital as well. i started Returnal but got my ass kicked so put it away for now, i could never get past the 1st boss. this ia great list of games, i definitely want to try Prince of Persia, HFW, and Guardians as i have the last two via PS+ How hard is Evil West, i know you did it recently? It looks like a big jump in diffciulty from normal to evil mode.
@@jahanzebhayat In Evil West you can do the evil difficulty on new game plus so all of your weapons and upgrades carry over. For the most part it isn’t too bad but there is one crazy battle at the start of the final chapter where you have to face two waves of mini bosses without any checkpoints. That part took me 75 mins to conquer. Even the final boss was a lot easier as there were checkpoints between each phase. Funny you should mention the first boss in Returnal. I found him to be the hardest out of the 5 bosses. It took me about 8 - 9 attempts to learn his patterns and beat him. The rest of the bosses I got by in 2-3 attempts. The game is hardest at the beginning when you are learning the ropes and don’t have the best of weapons. If you can make it through to Biome 4 then you find a weapon called the electropylon driver which is a game changer. It’s super powerful. The bullets from that gun automatically track enemies so you can shoot from behind cover and still take everyone out. Definitely one of my favourite games in terms of the gameplay. The only annoying thing is the cypher grind. Just realised I missed a few indie games from my last post. Dredge, Sifu The Pathless and Unbound Worlds Apart were all excellent. Unbound is rock solid 7/10 difficulty but very addictive. Sifu is 5/10 so takes a bit of practice. Dredge and The Pathless are 3/10 - nice and relaxing but top quality.
@@goopteruk279 The thing with Returnal is also the RNG Cypher grind, i did think the game looked and played amazing and the soundtrack was really good. It is one i want to do but so difficult, I will have to download it again and practise for sure. Thanks for the info on Evil West, good to know there are checkpoints for final boss. Boss checkpoints are my new favourite thing thanks to Ragnarok 😅 Those are some good games you have listed, thanks a lot! Definitely going to look into them, as my backlog is slowly starting to clear up now
J, have you considered going for the Arkham Asylum, City, or Origins platinums? Given your passion for B-Man and the Arkham Knight game, I feel those games would be right up your alley. I think Origins may be difficult to obtain without boosting the MP trophies, and both the Asylum and City platinums have a higher difficulty than Knight and are ultra rare plattys (I think..?) :) I'm thinking about going back and finishing the "platinum" for City and Asylum on the XBOX since I've already almost 100% them there! We'll see, though. I've heard the combat challenges are very difficult...
i started Arkham Asylum again in Jan and got sidetracked, the combat trophies are such a pain in the a** i need to go back to it and get better at it somehow. I want to do City as well but have heard the combat trophies are even harder. So with Origins, i could not connect to the MP, as i want to boost those, they really need to do a PS4 port of Origins. You should go back and get the Xbox plats for sure!

Lmao I love how the platinum trophy community all shame themselves for the easy, "shovelware" platinums.. We all do it.. I call them my "Women of the Night" platinums.. lol
You look at it via trophy hunting angle but plat before finish doesn’t make a game shovelware. Shovelware is if the game is ass itself, trophies aren’t the main priority for non shovelware games when making a video game. I have one game that falls within that called zero strain, the games good asf and I got it for the game, and played past the plat, and it’s a difficult game beyond the 3/10 very early in the game plat, the game isn’t shovelware cuz it’s platinum is early on, they just made an easy platinum list on a cool asf and difficult game.
