I guess, to start, thanks for the review. I don't know if I accidentally spurred you on to do it but its appreciated.
But yeah, as you can probably tell, I'm more of a niche gamer. I primarily play the kind of games you don't really hear about often, if at all. I swear I don't purposely do that, those just happen to be the types of games I'm into so it turns out that way. I mean, heck, you can see all those games in Japanese text. I'm no stranger to importing.
For instance, my favorite developer is NIS (Nippon Ichi Software). I've done tons of games from them: "Disgaea", "Witch & Hundred Knight", "htoL#NiQ", "Void Terrarium", "Mad Rat Dead", "Battle Princess of Arcadias", "Labyrinth of", "Rhapsody", "Yomawari", so on and so on. All games that are on here of course. In fact, my little profile image (at the time of this comment being posted anyway) is actually of the "Disgaea" and "Disgaea 2" main characters squaring off.
5:32 (Platinum times)
For the most part, I generally concentrate on just playing a single game at a time. Earlier on, I'd sometimes go back and forth between two but not really much anymore. So all those times that say they took months or years are mostly games I went back to at some point after I started trophy hunting. Or went back to due to DLC.
The longest I ever spent playing a single game straight is "Mugen Souls" at two months. A good 450+ hours that one was. The rest are usually at around a single month at the longest, so mainly the 200 hour ones.
my pleasure, it was long overdue, i just had to get the time to make it and really enjoyed it. Your love for Vita has really inspired me to keep adding to my Vita collection and get more platinums on it.
there are so many games on the list that i am going to look into, especially some of the more obscure PS5 games i don't hear about.
some of the games are so long! you have a lot of patience to do those 200 hour plats

Nice variety list. Never heard of half of the games to be honest.
This is by far the biggest trophy list you've reviewed to date. A lot of variety on here which is always nice to see. The standout platinum trophies for me would be Sonic Unleashed, The Evil Within, Vanquish, and Dead Space 2. This guy definitely spends a lot of hours playing their games which is a skill I don't possess, I rarely play 100+ hour games.
I recently started Batman Arkham Knight which Jahanzeb is a big fan of, really enjoying the game. The amount of content is unreal. RE4 Remake has been sidelined whilst I'm consumed by Arkham Knight.
Sonic Unleashed is so rare, first time i have seen it on a trophy list. They did Evil Within in a week!!
oh nice!! Arkham Knight is one of my favourites as you know and yeah the content/DLC is insane. I am sad you paused RE4 lol, but you did it for a good cause 😂
Vita love! Still use mine on the regular. I think I have done ~220 games on it so far.
Always happy to see other accounts giving it some much deserved attention.

@@jahanzebhayat 134 of them are plats. The rest are 100%'s without plats. I don't care if a game has a plat or not, I just enjoy getting that 100% complete trophy list.

Took me a while to get through this one. Always a joy to see Shadow’s list. The man is a machine when it comes to both skill and speed. Loads of great games on that list and plenty more that I had to google.
Jahanzeb, you should definitely give The Knight Witch a go. I would say it’s a 5/10 for difficulty and it took me over 20 hrs. Great fun gameplay and a very addictive game. Death’s Door is another cracking indie game from this list. Again I would say it’s a 5/10 and it took me over 20 hrs.
I played a really cool indie game last week called Last Stop. It was released in 2021. I had always hoped it would get physical release but it wasn’t to be so I finally caved and downloaded it. It was well worth it though. Very engaging story and it was only 7 hrs to plat. I started Dead Island 2 at the weekend.
He is a total machine, loved all the vita games.
i will look into these two games for sure. there are loads from this list i want to look into.
i will also check out last stop, not heard of it mate. do you keep all your physical games after you have played them?
@@jahanzebhayat Yes I keep hold of all my physical games until such time that I upgrade to the next gen console. Game gave me £820 for my PS4 and all the games so it felt as though I got the PS5 and a load of games for free. Game stopped doing trade ins in Feb 2024 so might need to sell them on EBay when the time comes to move on to PS6.
Great work with God Of War Ragnarok. Glad you enjoyed it. I found the fight against Gna to be the hardest but I guess it all depends on your build. Are you gonna do the Valhalla DLC? If so let me know if it’s any good as I may get round to it one day. I played the game before the DLC launched.

@@goopteruk279 That was a good deal! i take a lot of my games to CEX, some i keep, definitely keeping my copy of Ragnarok now! You could probably get a good price on Ebay for the console and games one day.
Thanks mate, i loved the game. Gna was straight forward for me, it was that king beserker who took ages for me. I struggled with him. No i have not tried Valhalla yet, i thought i would take a break from GOW for now, might try it later this year.

I wouldn't say I'm that skilled or even all that fast. If anything, I almost always go over estimate since I usually take my time and play slow. I'm just stubborn and sometimes have an influx of free time.
Nothing on here is all that impressive. Almost anyone can do the same if they tried or had the time themselves.

What is considered shovelware? I am just starting trophy hunting and I have games like ‘call of the sea’ and ‘the order 1886’ plats. Are they considered shovelware? I want to make sure I avoid shovelware
Shovelware is games like stroke the cat, stroke the turtle. Basically games that don't really have a story and/or any gaming mechanics, so games where you just press x for 30 mins on the same screen for example. Those games you mentioned are not shovelware and are nice plats. I have Order 1886 and loved it. I have played a few crap games just to get the plat and it is not worth it friend.
