How to get that stringy look in the jeans? Get a blue collar worker to give you their jeans when they throw them out. 😊Free and you wouldn't have to make them distressed. Save you some time. I take my husband's jeans out of the trash can. He just doesn't understand why I would want his worn out jeans. 😂

For my wedding dress i found an antique veil i dipped the edges in pink dye and coffee/tea and added a tiara headband. I found a plain bridesmaids cheaper dress and added lace and pearls on the bodice.

I’m getting ready to go on vacation and even though I make tons of clothes to sell I realized as I’m scouring my closet I realized I’ve neglected myself because I never seem to have time. I kept hitting mental blocks trying to decide what my personal style even is anymore 😜. Casual cute is definitely my style after watching this.

This was fantastic! I have a ton of mismatched stuff in my closet and you’ve given me the inspiration to look at them differently! And if they don’t match get out a bottle of dye. Like you, I have a ton of white pants I don’t wear so why not dye them. Also I’ve begun hanging outfits together for ease of dressing and I’ve found that it encourages me to wear things I’ve overlooked. I think it would be great for you to do this type video every so often!

What inspiring outfits you have done for the summer, Traci! I am hoping for time in a few weeks to do the same. My sister became ill last fall and died in the winter. I miss her terribly. Before she left the hospital, though, we thought she would be going to a nursing home. I went out and got her nearly a dozen tees to wear for comfort. You need a lot of clothes in a nursing home because things can spend a week coming back from the laundry. This left me with a lot of colorful, unworn 4X tees to work with. I am looking forward to remaking them into skirts and shirts. For her memorial luncheon, I used your old, erased video ideas to put floral patches all over a pair of white gauze pants. I widened the legs by adding panels I cut from a cotton shirred- front floral shirt from my sister’s closet. Thanks for all of your videos sharing your creative ideas. I will be making lots of things from my sister’s clothing to honor her memory!

You have inspired me to sew again! I started sewing when I found myself in “off” sizes and “off” styles, so I made clothes that fit my size and my style. I'm so glad you decided to post this video! So inspiring! I have tons of clothes that I don't wear because there's something 'wrong'. Sometimes only a too tight elastic at the short sleeves, for example. I'm so inspired now to make some changes to many things. It's a sort of long term 'dream' to open the closet and take out ready to wear combinations that go well together and are comfortable and flattering. Now I'm older (in my fifties) I gained some weight and don't feel comfortable anymore in too tight things that are showing of too much and are unflattering.

I stumbled across your channel and have been binge watching your videos.. I am a mixed media artist and I am never happy with my wardrobe. I did not consider applying my creativity to my clothes until now. You taught me that frayed edges are okay and that layers, patches and applique can make the most incredible artistic statements.
