- Sewing pieces that I've had in my summer wishlist for so long was such a great challenge and I am so happy with how everything turned out :)
Pattern for the blouse is from Puff and Pencil. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
All of them are lovely
I use 3 main tools for turning straps and ties. Mostly i use a ‘loop turner’. They’ve been around since grandma’s time and reasonably foolproof. My other go-to is a ‘Fabric Tube Turner’. I only discovered those a few years ago, they’re easy to use. For bigger ties i use my trusty safety pin. (That one is a sentimental favourite because it was the only nappy pin i have left from when my kids were babies, showing my age there!).
That embroidery looks fabulous on that blouse! The ruffles would have been nice as well, but it’s lovely as it is.
Thank you so much for the tips! I will try to find the tools next time I'm going to the craft/fabric store!
Having things that have sentimental value, but are useful at the same time is so amazing. Some crochet hooks that I use often are my mom's and she used them when she was young and I love it :)
You saw an amazing summer wardrobe! I am a beginner sewer and what I love the most it's how it is always possible to find a solution, nothing is going wasted. Loved your genuine storytelling of the whole process 😊
Thank you so so much!!!
Hello:) love your video! how to cut the ribbon to the right side, before you sew it, you need to make a long thread chain, which I do with an overlock, then sew it to the end from the right side, and that chain is left inside, and you can pull behind it and cut it to the outside . remember that when you sew, one end will stick out to the left side, and it can then be easily cut and pulled out completely. I hope you get the idea. I sew like that, I have a model where the sleeves need such an method.
Thank you! 💕 I haven’t tried this method, i will definitely give it a try next time i’m sewing. It sounds easier than struggling with the bobby bin :)
Came to recommend the same, I sew to sell and this is the only way I do it.
Making the chain and keeping it inside the sandwich while sewing the side shut and then pulling it through the middle. Quickest way ever. I tried the tools etc and all are slow and fiddly
Hello. This is the first time the algorithm has thrown you my way. I really liked your video, and your clothes are very cute.
Hey!! Thank you so much!
I love ALL of your garments but I have to say the Blouse, and top and pants are stunning...I think so anyway.. Just found your channel so I'm looking forward to seeing more of you. 🙂
Thank you so much!!! ❤
You are so talented and clever! I received some great inspirational ideas to try. I absolutely love the comment you made “ I’m so grateful for my past self”!
Thank you so so much :)
Nice job on everything!! They look very beautiful!!!❤❤❤
Thank you!!!
Bravo! Everything is perfect for you!
Thank you! :)
The first top was a jig saw...not much left over! Good job.
❤
The items turned out so so cute! 🤩
Thank youuu ♥
You made beautiful pieces
Thank you so much :)
Hi, the clothes you made are lovely, your very clever, job well done.😊
Thank you ❤
I sew straps closed on one side and use the dull end of a crochet hook to push the open end through!
I feel your pain with the ties! I really don’t like turning out tubes. Such a pain! Especially with cotton which is grippy.
I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one at least 😅
I'm so happy I found this video, such a calm video; I was watching it while folding my fabric stash LOL. I heard you ask for tips on how to turn straps right-side-out... I use the top end of a knitting needle and push it through, I've also heard you can use a chopstick (but I find them to short). Anyway, I hope this helps, happy sewing 💚
Your comment makes me so happy! That's what I love to do as well - watch crafting videos while crafting myself or organising yarns and fabrics :)
Thank you for the tip, I will give it a try!
beautiful makes!
It all came out so well! I need to make some summer clothes soon, it’s waaaay too hot for what I already own😝😝
You knocked it out of the park~~~ Fabulous~
Thank you :)
If you cut the ties on the bias they pull through easily with a safety pin attached to one end. 😊
LOVE each of your creations!
Thank you so much ♥

Hi Annalise, I watched a couple of your videos and I enjoy your overall presentation. You are relaxed, pleasant to listen to and I am impressed by how effortlessly you alter your design and sewing as you go along with your project. I am looking forward to viewing many more sewing projects from you. Congatulations on your journey! I am curious weather design and making clothes is a hobby or are you involved in it as a vocation.
Hello! Thank you so so much for the lovely comment, it made my day!!!
I studied fashion design in uni, and have sewn, crocheted and knitted quite a lot, but at the same time I still have a lot to learn as well. I haven't necessarily done it as a job, but I've rather worked on my own projects, some bigger, some smaller :)
Hi where do I get the pattern for the white blouse you made with lantern sleeves? Its so cute I need to make one for myself!!
ahh never mind its from puff and pencil thank you anyway
You could wear a slip under that white dress. If you wear a slip, a lining is unnecessary.
Ohh, i didn’t even think about this option. Great idea!
Why do you sew with the machine so far away. You are leaning forward. May develop back problems.
I started doing that because I had a really small desk for a long time and I needed some space on the desk to work on (like pinning and measuring etc), so I placed the sewing machine further away. I guess it has become a habit.
