Matej Bukovec exactly. Lithgow can play a very nice guy or he can play an extremely mean villain. He was extremely mean in Cliffhanger as well. Extremely talented actor.
John Lithgow was absolutely amazing in this. Its strange I felt so much hate for Trinity but at the same time I felt sorry for him. He hated himself and it reflected in his family and how he treated them. He was quite bitter with what he had become. It wasn't what he wanted to be. Amazing writing and hats off to John Lithgow for a perfect portrayal
When John Lithgow brought up 3rd Rock from the Sun, I automatically thought of Bryan Cranston and Malcolm in the Middle, both are just fantastic actors to pull off such opposite characters to perfection.
5:18 John Lithgow hits the nail on the head here, they did it in Breaking Bad, actors predominantly from light-hearted and comical backgrounds make some excellent evil characters. It's a weird thing that works fantastically, here in Dexter, season 4 is colloquially the last good season, and possibly the best. IMO, loved every season up to the point where Deb caught Dexter with Travis. Just that moment was the last shocker, past that, slept on it. I think Deb should've arrested Dexter, and his enemy for the next season is tragically Deb, of which he can find no way out.
The chairs they sit on its so small they looked so uncomfortable especially Lithgow lol Its scary how good Lithgow was in that role. He was born for that role, Its like he is Arthur Mitchell, now hes pretending to be Lithgow. I think its becuz he has the look especially the eyes

Season 5-8 had different writers. This new season is bringing back the original writers I hear.
