I put a thick paper back factory service manual in there and it suspected it no problem. lol..... the 1/4 inch bungee is the way to go. Plus it doesn't looks like total crap anymore.

Ok the new HD version is up. It seems my processor got a little weird on me. I think it was because the opening clip was a lower res.

I have an 1982 300SD. My front passenger seat stopped working and it is all the way back and down. I can hear the motor turning when I move the switch. I want to repair it but I can't remove the two back nuts. Do you have any tips or recommendations.

Assuming you are talking about the two bolts at the rear of the guide rails. I looked at mine. They appear to screw downward into permanently mounted capture nuts. I'm assuming these nuts don't come off. With the seat all the way back, you might be able to unhook the seat bottom upholstery (from the rear. removing the seat back might make things a little more clear) and move it out of the way to get to the top of those guide rail bolts. If it were me, I'd try to unbolt the seat from the floor mounts so I could lift it up and hopefully get to those guide rail bolts. All the hardware on my seats is really corroded. Removing and repairing the seats is actually on my restoration list of this car but I've not gotten around to it yet. Spray the bolts down with WD40 before trying to loosen them.

Could you do a repair on cracked top door panels , please !! My 300 SD door panels are broken and toasted from extensive sun exposure.
      Thanks !
