    when you say "don't let perfection get in the way of progress" I kept getting reminded of the quote from Viktor in Arcane which is, "There is no prize to perfection, only and end to pursuit."

    I have to start by saying I am a Futurer “someone who has been following Chris for over 5 years”. For some reason the thumbnail didn’t catch it sounded a bit cliche business advise. But I always trust Chris that the content will be good, then I clicked and the rest of history. This video has been one of the most amazing videos with real practical takeaways. He got to come back on the show to break down more of his knowledge in various segments. Thank you for the amazing content that you put up.

      Thanks so much for giving it a shot despite the thumbnail!
      Glad you found the takeaways practical and valuable.
      I’d love to dive deeper into some of these topics-what would you like to see us break down next time?

      @@thefuturI think startup somewhere in the titile would have helped, but I guess it would have niched the video too much excluding many people who would have benefited from the video. I think his speciality is more info on the startup process, the phases
      , funding required. I think a series on startups, how people can build a business with a plan to scale it rather than just to run it as a business. What are the key indicators that can help see if their building a business or a startup. Then what happens during ideation, seed funding, who do you go to and what do they want you to have e.g MVP etc. what does startup founders want for their dollar ie equity, what are reasonable percentages. How can one take an idea to make it a startup. I liked the way he broke down the Latino targeted business. I hope it makes I know I said a lot… is a sales page good enough to be called a startup….

      For Chris Do I always have time for his content. I am the guy who scrolls to find which Chris videos I haven’t watch yet. I think insights of startups is an area that you guys should have a series on. The different funding stages, what is required at each stage, what amounts are you expected to raise at each respective phase.

    Would love to hear your ideas surrounding launching a new service (instead of a product) with a business that is already operating. Or even updating a new and improved version of a service you're currently offering.

    • @hamletazarian
      @hamletazarian หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question!
      Launching a new service requires clarity and strategy. A few key steps:
      Ensure it doesn’t compete with existing services-differentiate clearly. For example, if it’s hitting a new segment, like a premium offer vs. entry-level, establish the premium first and create a clear upsell path.
      Test it with a small segment of your current audience to gather insights.
      Focus your messaging on the unique value it brings and how it solves a specific pain point.
      Would love to dive deeper-what’s the new service idea?

    • @devingat
      @devingat 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@hamletazarian thank you for your response! I've decided to upgrade my signature service with clearer messaging and newer offerings.
      It's a consulting service for founders of successful small businesses that feel they've overlooked (or never had clarity with) their purpose in their work and ultimately life.
      Over a few conversations, I help them clarify their vision for the most meaningful life and then provide the strategy and design assets to help them operate in their business with this discovery. Helping them not just chase opportunities but walk in their calling.
      It blends practices found in brand strategy, design thinking and purpose coaching.

      @hamletazarian หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question!
      If you're gauging interest without a product, offer something valuable like a free resource, guide, or exclusive insight related to your idea.
      It helps build trust and gives you feedback to refine your concept.
      What’s the idea you’re exploring?

    • @hamletazarian

      @@Ka2le Exactly! A pre-launch mailing list is a great way to gauge interest while building excitement.
      You could take it a step further by inviting them to join a product advisory board or provide feedback during development-making them feel involved and valued in shaping the product.

    Am I the only one that doesn't really find value in these "pre-episode" previews that just take up time and don't really provide any value? We're already here to watch the video, it's kind of pointless to tease a movie when you're getting ready to watch that movie.

    • @captainbalao
      @captainbalao 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It is a hook, you give the audience some “expectation” on what the video is about and if it is interesting enough, you’ll watch till the end. Like the start of a mr beast video that shows the “end part”.
      Instead of complaining its better to find reason on why people do things and look at the outcome, if it generates views then it is effective, copy it.

      For someone with 10 videos getting added to their Watch Later playlist every day, I need to know if this is the video for me to watch, or not, fast, or else I have to move on. I'd say it's essential for the viewer and the channel.

    providing loan based on the race of the person is unethical the question is how are you to prove objectively that I am Latino second are you going to exclude first time small business whos ideas have greater potential just because of a person appearance the free market should be based on ideas not race

    • @nahimehjaffar7201
      @nahimehjaffar7201 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree but How do you balance the unfair privilege other races have? This is the argument behind affirmative action and balancing a very unfair system. Some POC are starting out with a unfair disadvantage to build generational wealth for their families

    • @thompson9529
      @thompson9529 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Perhaps it is part of how the market works?

    • @جنيدجان
      @جنيدجان หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is a dangerous and misinformed way to think.
      First, it is not true that the loans for Latino-owned businesses are based solely on race- rather they exist to address systemic inequities; data shows Latino entrepreneurs face higher loan denial rates (19% vs. 11% for White entrepreneurs) due to structural barriers, not lack of merit (Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative, 2021).
      Second, your claim that Latino identity is based on what someone looks like conflates ethnicity with appearance, ignoring that such programs draw on extensive business ownership data in underserved communities.
      Third, the idea that the free market rewards the best ideas overlooks documented biases in lending and wealth distribution that disadvantage Latino entrepreneurs, despite their $800 billion contribution to the U.S. economy annually (U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, 2023).
      Finally, equity initiatives are not exclusionary but aim to correct historical imbalances, ensuring fairer access for all, while also driving broader economic growth. Your critique misunderstands equity as unethical, when it is a necessary response to systemic inequality.

    • @aleetimes3
      @aleetimes3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's great... race is still implicitly considered. I doubt anyone is actually excluded. There are funds and grants for different communities. And that is allowed and more then fine. It is not unethical esp. If your ethics say. I want to serve and lift up those who are undeserved. Its unethical to abuse that and pretend to be Latino.

    • @hamletazarian
      @hamletazarian หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thank you for sharing your perspective!
      To clarify, Camino Financial doesn’t base its loans on race or appearance.
      Instead, they focus on providing access to underrepresented communities, like first-generation immigrants, who often lack access to traditional financing.
      It’s about addressing systemic gaps, not exclusion.
      The goal is to empower all entrepreneurs with great ideas, regardless of background.
