Work for free...part time and temporaily. Figure out what skills you have that you can offer that would be low risk to them. I did note taking for a year for a professional association. It only took up 3 hours of my time once a month. They waived the membership for me but more importantly I was around and networking with the biggest names in the industry for my area. After the first year i was moving up to bigger and better roles in the association.

The similarities between our stories are staggering. I studied & played jazz 🎷 for years and had to stop overnight due to health reasons. I've been missing the creative outlet big time since entering the mortgage space years ago. I've also watched Neel's growth from who he was to who he currently is, not forgetting the career growth that has come along with it.
